Worm castings?

Hello fellow 420 enthusiasts. I am new to growing and I have heard from numerous sources that organic is the best way to grow for the best tasting buds. Well that being said I for sure want to try it out. However I don't know exactly how to go about using the worm castings. I know you can make the tea and use it as a nnute when you water. But what if I wanted to plant in the worm castings. Do I have to mix with soil or any other type of medium? Also I would like to know if, when, and what kind of nutrients I should use with worm castings?

Also I was really thinking of going with Fox Farm Ocean Forest or Age Old Organic Growing Soil. Which would you recommend to mix with the worm castings?
