So it’s been another crazy week for me. Low and slow worked for me in the fridge for 10-12 days. The moisture was very slow to leave the buds for the first 9-10 days.
Wednesday I did my daily check on them after work and they showed a lot more crispyness. I thought ok I’ll check on them tomm same time.
When I did they felt like Bone dry. So crispy I thought I had blew it again.
I scrambled to begin dry trimming as much as I could. De stemmed about half the harvest and did a quick dry trim before they went into glass jars of various sizes. Stuck gauges in and waited. RH climbed to over 70%. When I re opened the jars it seems the moisture had came out of the centre of the buds and re hydrated everything quite well. Smells were really nice. Density was also very good.
I was very sad to see how dry it had gotten from Wed to Thurs. but then that went to very relieved when they came back up.
I burped off a bit more and ended up having a few jars stabilize at 65% RH approx. I then added 62% Integra Boost Packets.
They are now all holding at respectable RH %s.
Last night I trimmed as much as I could alone again. About 4-5 hrs each night. Rough days after 10-12 hr work days and all other daily life errands.
Now there is only a couple oz left in the fridge in the crisper. I believe that the fridge cycles air and I had turned the Huey off in the basement. RH fell to 30% for a couple days where before it was on and maintaining 50%.
Also because the first week + was nice and slow drying I started leaving the boxes and bags slightly more open. That also would have contributed to the faster drying Wed and Thursday.
Here’s so pics of what is happening. Also the smoke is really sweet. I want to thank you guys for sharing all this great information and giving me tips on each step. Bud washing is legit. I wil ALWAYS do this in the future. Low and slow is also really good I just need to be careful to keep tabs on the buds. Every bag or box was slightly more moist or dry. Because some I left more leafs on etc. Some had more sugar leaf around the buds. Stem size all that plays a role in how drying will go.
The smoke is very smooth and when u draw from a joint it fills ur lung but no harshness or chance if a cough. Ash burns super white. The smells of the buds from each plant have their own unique profiles.
Pheno 1 - Very Sour Diesel. Nice orange hairs. Dense.
Pheno 2 - Sweet Pineapple / Tropical scents. Nice size buds after full dry. Dense.
Pheno 3 - Raspberry scents. Under lying Kush/Hash type smells. Very trichome laden. Sticky icky.
Pheno 4 - Indica Bush. Harvested last. Still in the fridge for the most part. Tightest rock hard buds. Ridiculous amounts of trichomes. Smells are not really fruity. Mostly hash / Kush like.
Tester Nuggets. Dried but only a couple days into cure. Smoke is very nice already.
Lazy man’s trim
Here is a shot of the full harvest minus trim bag in the freezer I threw a lot of little buds in there too. Also I have given away approx 8-10g to friends and co workers of testers.
Bonus chunk of finger hash for my trim efforts. I did his entire harvest alone. 12hours over 3 different days. What a task lol I was a whiner not going to lie. Had some crazy allergic reactions to all the terps in the air.
My goal next harvest is to do a full 3 weeks in the fridge. This grow I managed 12days but that allowed me to fully dry trim and jar up / burp before I have to leave on Wednesday. So I don’t mind. Plus the smoke and bag appeal is above satisfactory.
I’m guessing around 14-15oz total. Just shy of the 1 lb mark. For my first HBrix grow I am quite pleased with these Figures. 350w of LED in a 3x3 tent and four plants in 7Gal pots. I will dry weigh tomorrow as I’m just about to head out of town for the rest of the day.
Thank you so much to all the great members that shared info and opinion to see my grow to a successful harvest. I’m truly gracious.
My plans are to start a new HB grow mid April or earlier if possible. I will also be starting up my 2x4x6 Clone tent next round.

Congrats again Wrenn! Really happy you had a great experience on your 1st grow, with the kit and low and slow! You nailed it with the low and slow. My last crop, I kept checking them and thinking they were never gonna dry then one day about 1/2 was ready for the jar and the other half was one more day.
Can I suggest taking the boost pack out of 1 or 2 jars to compare? They're not really needed except for long term storage and I've read they rob flavor from the buds. I realize this is controversial but I tend to agree. I do have some with (I have Bovedas) but only cause they got too dry. I don't smoke enough to tell the difference but I can tell the ones without smell much better! Duggan never uses humidity packs, I'm sure others don't either. Rambling now, ha!
Report back as to how your friends and family like your superior Meds.

Thanks brotha! And yes I am also worried about the boost packs. I’ll take them out of 2 of 3 containers. Only 1 jar is settled at 58% RH with a boost pack inside.
The other two glass containers are much bigger. The one with the walnut top holds about a QP. This one without packs rises to a healthy 64% RH over 24-36hrs. I will leave this with no packs. Also have a bigger 2 Quart jar that was showing 65% RH without boost pack. I’ll remove the boost from this aswell.
The one that is drier at 58% I’ll leave the packet inside as I fear it got slightly to dry. I’ll also smoke that stuff first so it’s gone asap.

Wish I could share the smoke with you guys. It’s a bouncy high. Euphoric, uplifting , talkative and bubbly mood all describe the effect well.
Also the potency of the effect is quite good. Lasting a average of 2-3hours before it’s for certain gone. Also very surprised how dense everything came out once dried.
Haha no worries I’m the king rambler u can’t out do me
Testers have been getting good reviews so far. Will see how it does over the next month. Buds are hardly even cured.

Yea I noticed that cause I ran out 2 early as well but dam was it worth cause the devils carnival I have now are insane smelling Haha but I ended up gettn the big bottles for the end of this grow an for the start of the next.

Harvest Update ,
Chopped the girls March 3rd. In the fridge March 4th 24hrs later.
Left one plant for another 2days because I got busy. Chopped her March 6th. In fridge same night after 4hrs drip drying.
It’s been just over a week in the fridge for the first three plants. And around 6days for the last one. temps are 40-55f and 30-40% RH. Crisper is the higher of those values.
I’ve been keeping tabs on them and taking them out to inspect almost daily.
Yesterday night is the first time I felt any crispyness on the sugar leaf. The buds are still moist inside. They have all been in either brown paper bags or cardboard boxes. All closed with small openings.
I tested a small batch of nugs. Around 5-6grams. Put them in a air tight glass jar. With a Caliber VI gauge. After just 2-3 hours the RH was up to 70-72%. Too wet.
Back in the fridge. Will check again either tonight or tomm. You guys weren’t joking about the smell. My entire house is rankkkk.. The fridge must be cycling air out or in. It took a couple days for it to build up.
The nugs have some “fresh green “ scents that I hope will go away. With the low and slow I can see 14-21day drying times. Also I didn’t do much trimming so that could also contribute to the fresh green smell. Once I get them close to 65-68% stable over 24-36hrs in a jar. I will pull the trigger and do a final manicure. Then I plan too vac seal them down in 1-4oz packets. Is it safe to vac seal them in ziploc bags or will that crush the buds and stick alot of resin to the bag? I can buy a jar sealing kit if needed.
I am not sure if it’s my lights or just strain but the nugs aren’t as dense as I would like except on the small plant. Those feel solid. With any luck the rest of drying / curing and the vac seal will tighten them up a bit and I’ll be satisfied.
Some of the smells the plants exhibited while growing are still present although not as strong now. I’m hoping those return with a vengeance once curing happens.
I have tested a few small buds that I dried in a small brown paper bag left somewhat open. They dried out faster and were probably still moist inside.
Used scissors and let them air dry on a table for a little before I rolled them up. The smoke is not harsh at all and the draws are smooth and filling. A bit of the green type taste on the exhale. But not much to notice. The high was intense. Racy and sativa. Lasted a couple hours maybe. Not bad as I’m a daily smoker for 15years.

Thanks KB and damn right I absolutely am a fan of Doc’s Kit and how simple the growing has become. I have gotten a few friends into growing with his products. Some are about to harvest in the next few weeks.

These shots are just after the second cat about a week ago. The trichome coverage is crazy.
Can’t wait till these finish. I’ll be helping him with the drying and curing phases.
The Raspberry Diesel grow is all wrapped up and the smoke is very smooth. 2 plants are smelling like sour diesel. One has a nice fruity berry / pineapple smell inside and the last has a strong Kush type smell from the Afghani with the most dense and trichome laden buds of the lot. Density is great on these buds and bag appeal is very good too. Final dry weight was 14.5oz from all 4 plants. Lots to share with my family and friends and last till my next harvest.
Thanks to everyone that supported on my first DBHBB grow. Lookout for my new journal later this month.

Lookn great man congrats. I bet she is jus guna ooze resin when she is done by the looks of her lol. About how big did she get for you? And did u notice more of a main cola then a bunch of side branches? Cause the one I ran when untopped it would make just a huge ass main cola. If you could you think you could take a few full body shots of her. But yea man lookn good tho.

Thanks KB. She isn’t a huge plant. Very normal for a 7 Gal pot. She was topped and LST. My usual methods for indoor in a tent with limited vertical height.
I’d guess she is around 30-36inches tall. And maybe 24 inches in diameter. The buds are just set and starting to bulk up so I’m not sure how big they will get. Time will tell.
Sorry I don’t have any pics right now if the full plant. I’ll get some before they finish for sure. I’ll throw them up when I take em. My buddy lives 2 hours away and has a old flip phone so it’ll have to be when I’m there next.
