My understanding of why to mix in that order is that some micro nutrients can bind together and prevent absorption when haphazardly mixed.

I add each ingredient one at a time mixing well in between with a wisk to blend thoroughly into the RO water. Lastly I pH the mix to the desired level.

I have read this, and use a similar method. I also let them stand for 20 minutes after they are mixed. Something about releasing the ions..................

sorry to chime in if this is not helpful. I severely underwatered and mine looked alot like your last pic. I also gave too many nutes after working out my watering.

I have found that I need cal mag every 2-3 waterings, and I don't do it with the other nutes. When mine went from drinking 2 liters every 2 days to 2liters every 3.5-4 days, I KNEW I had problems with the roots not taking up and transpiring the water like they did. I had to do a 3x flush. The last liter through had only a lite dose of calmag. It took 4 days to dry and then I started with a 1/4 dose of nutes and worked back up.

I also had purple leaves and yellowing. Purple usually signals either cold, phosphorous defic, or strain characteristic. I found I was giving too much cal mag. It seemed this may have been causing my problem.

Sierra Naturals sent me this book. It is available and easy to find by searching the title. This book is incredible. I wish I would have had it when I started. The methods used are similar to the way Beast grows. I have never seen a bad plant from beast. Beast favors light nutes, only 2 feedings during veg and very few in flower as well. This book takes a similar approach, but also explains EVERYTHING.
I am still a noob. I pulled 13 ounces off of 4 autos in 3 gallon fabric pots, but I had problems with 3 out of the 4 plants. This time I am determined to have a spotless grow with no issues.
I am placing 2 early miss and 2 "Jacks Revolver" in a homemade mix of ProMix HP (66.6%) with Fox Farm (33.3%) this morning. I am going to try to base my entire grow on the methods laid out in this book.

Thanks Beast, my overall goal is the spotless and easy grows you roll out so seamlessly. It is an enviable accomplishment. I am going to let the TINY little flowering girl go to the end. I will hit her with the AN big bud and overdrive and hope to get 1/4 oz off of her. As I stated above, I am also trying my own soil mix and an organic root booster to try to make sure they always have good size before they start to flower. Even after the stretch, this girl won't be over 8 inches tall. It will probably be one solid bud from the dirt to the top.
I think my problem was that it took me forever to realize that my plants don't need me that much, and not nearly as much as I thought they did. I just need to get out of their way.

As for the book, when I read it, I kept thinking of your method. So similar.

Thanks alot schtiggy and cannabis plants are strong. i think alot of people over think the veg phase like how to get there plant huge so fast.but the plant will do that all on its own lol. And more natural u grow a plant i belive the better quality buds u get for sure natural tasting potent beautiful buds

Me too. Because mine shouldnt be def on Cal. I gave it 1/4tsp a gallon, then gave it another 1/4tsp a gallon 4 days later. I wouldnt think that was too much but maybe it is. I was thinking it wasnt enough and I have a cal def or something. Hell idk,,,maybe its something totally different.

To much calmag will indeed give u defiencys.and giving calmag when not need like at a young age can also cause iron defiency later on in veg early flower

That 1st pic under the p k problems looks kinda like my problem. And it would make sense. As I fed 1 1/2tsp bloom 4 days later I gave just cal mag and Hi-Brix, and then 2 days later is when I started seeing the spots. Either way very good information there Schtiggy. And easy to read. Thank you very much for that.

I'm under the impression that a consistent 1.5ml/L is a sufficient amount to use throughout the grow with LED.

Guess I'm not sure how to tell when to stop.

OK so doing the math lol You give a little over a tsp a gallon every feeding? I ask because I have only been giving 1/4tsp a Gallon. But I am clearly doing something wrong.

Roughly 15ml per 10 Liters of water - divided amongst three girls.

Each girl gets roughly 3L of water. Roughly 5ml of Cal-mag.
