This is my first grow journal...this will be my second attempt at hydro. First time the plants got severely stunted somehow...possibly a nute problem. Anyways I'm starting over.
I germinated 3 seeds a few days ago in some coco coir...they are in a small dome inside my grow tent.
I will transplant them into 5 gallon dwc buckets with hydroton as soon as they're ready.
I have a 32"x32"x60" grow tent
300 watt LED
2 small oscillating fans inside
Tent is usually around 80 degrees
Just ordered 2 -6" inline fans for better air circulation

Any suggestions on when to transplant? I read that its better to wait til it has 2 set of true leaves.... what do you guys think?
Should I transplant them right into the hydroton rocks? I used rock wool cubes before...
How far should I bury the plant?
How far up the net pot should the water be?
Hoping I'm more successful this time around

No i started them in rockwool cubes but the coir is all i had so i used that.

do what u got to i guess. the seeds look like they streched a bit take the dome off transplant and bury stem further

Transplanted them into hydro buckets. They have 3 sets of leaves...i started them on 1/4 strength nutes.
Running under 300 watt led light and one 42 watt cfl per plant.
Ph 6.0

Just went to take pics and now all 3 plants are in some sort of distress. The leaves are all drooping. Is it possible they are just in shock from the transplant? Right now temp is 80 degrees and humidity is about 40.

Today they all look better except one...the leaves ate still drooping on one and has a small light brown patch on one lower leaf.

i had a journal and gave up and i have 30 plants in full flower no one wanted to comment seems like you have to be in the in crowd.great job either way ill follow along and comment

I appreciate the response tokersmokeg..its frustrating to post for help on a forum and be ignored! Well my babies were doing very well until about a week ago. They are about 3 weeks into veg and the leaves on two plants have brown spots and are crisping and the other two have yellowing and browning/crisping of the leaves. A guy at the hydro shop said to increas my ppms bc i may have been under feeding. So ppms are around 800 now but the problem doesnt seem to be getting better at all :/
