I decided to top Cindy, she was growing so perfectly that it was an easy cut (even for a first timer)..

Nice, I heard it's from the brothers cut, just a faster flower time

Didn't know that, thanks....went and did a little research...even more excited to be growing this one now..

A couple of side-by-side shots of the girls....Day 12 seedlings

I like this pic, the contrast between the Sativa and Indica strains is so obvious...

A pic of them enjoying the 125 watt CFL

I have been giving them 4 oz of pH adjusted water (4.5 oz last watering) every 48 hours and keeping track of their weights (which has proven very useful) as a guide....thanks arteeekay.

This evening I will give them each 6 oz of water to tide them over until I transplant them Wed or Thurs into their 2 gallon smart pots for veg.

Thanks for following along...

Update 8/3/16 (seedling Day 14 )

Topped Patti last night...

420-magazine-mobile1512750553.jpg

Transplanted both girls this morning...started to see some yellowing of leaves on both plants, figured they were getting a bit hungry in seedling soil.

After transplanting, gave each girl 3 cups of ph adjusted water with kelp (to help with transplant shock ).

Both root balls were very developed (soil stayed together without falling apart when removed from solo cups ).

After 2 weeks of lights on 24/7, timer now set for 18/6 under 125 watt CFL...will switch to 200 watt CFL next week.

Since transplant, Cindy (C99) has "lost" 2.016 pounds and multiple new tops are evident since being topped on 7/31....she is growing so well, I will give her another week or so and top her again.....
