Yellow Leaves

It's fall here in The Rocky Mtns. Is it common for the bottom leaves to be turning yellow? I'm using cal - mag nutrient.
along with fox farm. Are my buds drawing from the leaves, causing the leaves to turn yellow? What nutrient can I use to simulate bud growth?

It's probably too early for your leaves to turn yellow, if you are concerned with bud growth.

More of what you have already been feeding with would be a good start

Looks "normal" to me, but is strain dependent. I have 10 outside. Two of them have lots of yellow leaves with more every day. The rest are staying green. I don't use CalMag unless there is a reason. Your photos aren't very detailed, but from a distance I don't see any need for added Ca or Mg. Since you have good-sized plants in 5 gal buckets, you could get toxic salt build up.

BTW, I've grown the same strains several times: inside, outside, in pots, in the ground, different soils and different nute's. They yellow and drop early regardless, while the other plants stay green.

Topdressing with bat guano and palm ashes would help them flower and the bacteria from the guano may also help with their lack of vigour, as I guess bigger pots is not an option.

I would just ride it out. Plants look healthy otherwise.
