im really tired on the war on drugs, as you most likely seen on the new head of cartel in mexico is arrested .

us and mexico say its the end of the cartel ,but its not they must be smoking crack if they think that no one will walk away from billions and billions of dollars

the us knows what we need to do to put a end to the cartel and the war on drugs that is to make marijuana legal

and this is why i got my vote for Ron Paul for 2012 im tired of getting my weed from dealers

so who are you voting for ?

This is what goes through my head voting...

:hmmmm: Hm... Do I want this jerk? hm... Not really, but he sucks less than this jerk..:hmmmm:

:goof:Time for ballot paper origami!:partyboy:

Seriously though, I would probably vote for Ron Paul. I do not know much about politics, but he seems to be an intelligent person. I'll probably go all out on wiki before voting... I think I remember he was into the gold standard or something? Then I heard he has a lot of stock in the gold industry? This is all just what I vaguely remember hearing from some people I know.. I might add, I do not trust their opinion very much either.. I don't even know if that is good or bad or indifferent information!.

I like to research things that make sense.. so I rarely read about politics...which is nothing but nonsensical madness.

Ron Paul has some awesome ideas and I can see people who are interested in legal cannabis being for him. However, if you pay attention to all of his libertarian ideas, they would spell more corporate laissez-faire raping of the middle class. If your only concern is legal cannabis vote for R.P. If you are concerned that large corporations pay no taxes and then get paid a subsidy for not paying taxes we need somebody else. The Repubs have gone insane and gone to the extreme right and the Libs have moved towards center on many economic issues, the only "left" left in them is on some of the social issues. Many people don't agree with this but just do your fact/position checks of both parties in the 1960's, 70's up till now and you will see what I am talking about. There is no true left wing party, with true concerns about the average citizen anymore. The Dems talk the talk and then they remember they have no spine and back down...... or is it because of the legalized bribery ... errrrrrrr........... "campaign donations" they all accept.

Read article 3, especially Section 2 of the Constitution, it is about the powers that the Supreme Court has....... nowhere is it mentioned that they have the power to declare something "constitutional" or not.

Do you have anymore information about this? I would like to read more about it.

I hate to vote on a single issue, principal only, with Ron Paul as I don't feel he is electable or even capable of getting the nomination. I do feel there is a strong chance that Obama will move his stance back to his original position if he gets a 2nd term. Lots of interesting things happen when an election is no longer at stake. Otherwise it starts all over again if BO is bounced. Just my .02 worth.

Remember the budget crisis could be a factor in reducing MJ prosecutions. This past month there have even been Judges come out and say they must shrink the docket as there just is no longer any resources to prosecute and incarcerate those convicted.

Keep your eyes open for a possible Progressive Party being formed of liberal demos such as Bernie Saunders and Dennis, the K, and other labor/green factions.
Dennis and Bernie have the best track record under constant pressure but if not, I'll just go with a Socialist candidate if for no other reason than to show that there are those on the left, although the corporate mass media(who will elect the president, anyway) won't give airtime to anyone to the left of Attila The Hun.

Ron Paul's message and philosophy are more in Tune to reality and the American Peoples' will than any other candidate! He is Thomas Jefferson.

He maintains and can Demonstrate the Principals of FREEDOM unlike many who simply say that they honor Individual rights but Vote against freedom every time.

Watch this for a full Explanation of what it is to be Truly Free!

Vote Ron Paul, Vote for Freedom!!!

I'm voting for myself as King Of The Earth.

I will end the stupid, and fraudulent War On Drugs.

I will stop the pumping of fossil fuels and convert every existing internal combustion engine to run on Hemp Bio-Fuel.

There will be no more usage of Coal.

The usage of Cotton will be immensely reduced and replaced with Hemp.

I will make it illegal to not smoke pot. Every human being older than 10 years of age must enjoy at least two tokes of prime bud per month.

I will make it illegal not not grow Cannabis. Every person over 10 years of age must sow at least one Cannabis seed per year - somewhere, anywhere and just give it just enough water to grow.

I will stop all the senseless use of trees and replace virtually all things presently made with trees with psychoactive Hemp so that every time anyone blows there nose with tissue they automatically get a buzz.

I will reduce the 40 hour work-week to a 4 hour-work week and get robots and such other technology to do the remaining 36 hours per week.

All basic needs and desires will be free of charge, with no need for money, barter, or servitude. All extravagant desires (like cell phones, diamond encrusted, solid-gold watches and Lamborghinis) will cost the desiring person a smile.

Hmmm...that's all I can think of right now.

Anyone have any other ideas? Let me know and when I'm King of The Earth I will see that it gets done.

While I think you have missed a large portion of Ron Paul's messages, Your last statement worries me slightly.
"Section. 2.
Clause 1: The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;"
That is exactly what section 2 covers....

The fact is that since the 30's the right of America has moved left. Having government control over such things as education would have never went through in the 1800's. The federal government has more control over the individual person in America today then ever before. Ron Paul's focus is to reduce the size of the federal government and take it back to the powers listed in the Constitution.... Protecting our boarders, interstate and international trade. The real power is suppose to be left to the State and local governments to be controlled by the people those laws effect.

As for economic issues, the right hasn't moved right. Nowhere in the Constitution is there any mention of welfare, food stamps, or healthcare funded by other people to pay for the poor. That is a left/socialist viewpoint. I'm not saying that it isn't needed to some extent, but it is not the federal governments place. (This use to be taken care of by local communities and churches. Shriner's children hospitals come to mind) Taxes is a totally different subject, and the reason that most businesses are leaving the US. The very large majority of Americans pay NO taxes... in fact most ( >55%) get more money back from the federal government in tax rebates then they pay in. If that's not socialism, nothing is.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that has a clear view on the economic situation. The largest issues with electing Ron Paul is his views on the military and foreign policy. The rest is exactly how I personally like them. Gay marriage, let the people of that state decide. Educational requirements, let the parents decide (by voting for state and local reps.). Drugs, If people in NY city wanna smoke crack and that's the law they vote in, let them. When your vote matters and controls what happens in your every day life, people become responsible and become part of the process. The current system takes that away from us.

Ron Paul is the only politician I can with a clear conscience vote for. I am an Iraqi vet and I vote NO to war!! Paul is the only candidate not talking about war with Iran. He understands the realities of war. For instance, over 1 million iraqi civilians were killed in Iraq and many many more are now homeless. And all this for what? To remove Hussein and his fictional WMDs! To go fight some third world terrorist who can barely feed their family? To fight some sheep herders in the mountain of afghanistan? Fuck that, Fuck Obama, Fuck Romney and Fuck Bush!

I hope everyone reading this post will wake up and begin preparing for a state of war (martial law). America will soon experience what it's like to be treated like an Iraqi, Afghani, Pakistani, Yemeni etc.

If Ron Paul weren't rabidly anti-women's reproductive rights (he opposes birth control and abortion in all cases) he might have a shot at my vote. But as passionate as I am about safe, legal, and private access to medical MJ, I am even more passionate about women's reproductive rights and safe, legal, and private access to birth control and abortion.

Obama is the best all-around choice of a bad lot to me.

Rabidly anti-women's reproductive rights? I don't know where you came to that conclusion but he has stated time and time again that the states have a right via the Constitution to decide the particulars of Roe vs. Wade. He's correct. Also, since he's an OB/GYN, he actually understands the issue unlike the average politician, be they Demo-Rat or Republi-Con. States Rights have been undermined by a very dictatorial Federal government. The legalization of Cannabis is but one of many examples of State's Rights being totally dismissed by the current Obamanation administration. A vote for Obama is a vote for more government intrusion upon our lives, and for those of us who work for our money, a total disaster. He said he'd end the war in the Middle East within two years of his Presidency. Lies upon lies, Obama has told and it's time to get rid of him for good.
