1st Time Indoor Grow - Nirvana Swiss Cheese Auto

My first ever indoor grow! For this I also decided to try my first auto strain. I chose Nirvana's Swiss Cheese auto. To start all 5/5 seeds germinated in around 72 hrs! I have heard stories about autos not doing well when transplanted, so my germinated seeds went directly into their lifelong 5 gallon containers. For s**** and giggles I used 2 different mediums; both soil. The first is an organic potting mix (I wish I could remember the brand name) I use for my potted tomatoes, it's chemically similar to the Fox Farm ocean forest I'm using in the other containers. I have thus far kept these seedlings under 24 hours of light. Im cunningly running a 1000w, dimmable MH light running 75% most of the time (a few hours a day I turn it all the way up). I have a home made 4x4x5 3/4 foot grow "tent" which manages to sustain 80 degrees Fahrenheit and around 40% humidity. Pics to follow shortly. Any and all advice welcome; thank you all in advance!

These little Swiss Cheese autos are 8 days old. As I said, they're getting 24 hrs of light. Everyone seems happy and healthy thus far

Plant 5- A piece of this poor little gal came off with the seed husk. Growth seems to be a little stunted but she's bouncing back sans leaf

2 weeks old today; biggest of the bunch. The Fox Farm ocean forest has definitely made a difference in size early on. The 3 in my unknown organic soil are consistently smaller

This little guy recovered from losing a leaf early on and caught up to his tent mates as well

All 5 at day 18 in the soil. It seems like they're growing at like 3 different rates. One is growing very fast, one pretty fast, and 3 at about a speed I had come to expect. The 2 in strictly Fox Farm are doing the best but the others are beginning to catch up

The biggest

Didn't think this one was going to make it a week after it came above ground but has made vast improvements.

The smallest 3 of the 5.

Started giving these plants 6 hrs of rest since the day after xmas and have already seen a drastic improvement. I'm going to continue resting these plants for the rest of the grow. I know there's people that say 24-0 or 20-4 is okay for autos but these plants are obviously benefitting from a nap

Hope all is well in your world.

Is this grow still alive?

We would love to be updated with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?

If you need any help with posting photos, please read our Photo Gallery Tutorial.

I am moving this to Abandoned Journals until we get updates.
