Winginit With Champagne Auto

So I barely find any information on this strain Champagne auto and haven't found any journals or vlogs with this strain(if you find anything please send me a link). I received 4 of these seeds as a freebie from a very reputable bank in the U.K.

Champagne auto:
Special limited edited Super Auto from Flash Autoflowering Seeds. Combines the genetic parentage of Girl Scout Cookies, OG Lemon and Stitch 0.2 and is expected to yield heavily in 110-120 days from seed.
Doesn't sound like much of an auto at 110-120 days from seed until finished but oh well.

Germinated 2 of these and had a 100% success

This will be an indoor grow and I will be using Canna Coco as my medium. Not sure if I should have mixed some perlite or not? Too late.

I am using 3 gal smart pots and this will be the autos final pot.

I have 2x 600w leds with veg/bloom switch.

My highest temps being 80f in the last 24 hours and the lowest being 70f with 45-53% rh.

So far I just put the seedlings in the coco today and I watered about 1/4 of a gallon each plant ph'ed at 5.8. I used tap water and my tap sits pretty high around 300ppm hopefully that isn't too hot for these ladies. Will either get ro or distilled water in future.

I plan to water every day an hour after the lights turn on and will be topping and possibly some training, I'm open to any and all suggestions whether I should do any of that or not. This will be my first auto grow so it will be a learning curve.

I will be using AN perfect ph micro, grow, and bloom but I have not thought of a schedule to use yet as I am not sure how autos react to nutes this early.

Anybody have a ppm guideline I can follow for autos??

Will be posting pics soon .

So I've been busy and got behind on this journal so this is my attempt at catching up. Currently on day 8.

Here are the girls on day 6

I had some plastic shelfs lying around so I made use of them and drilled holes for drainage.

I have been feeding them 3 times a day 16 oz of water with AN micro and grow plus cal mag. Puts the water at around 300ppm and 5.7-5.8 ph. It almost looks like one of the autos is lighter than the other.. could this be the plant asking for more nutes??

Here they are as of today, day 8

Still looking good. Tested runoff and ph was a little high at 6.5 is that going to be an issue? Can anyone advise me on this? I water with 5.8 ph every time so not sure if I should be worried about water coming out or more about water going in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty new to this, certainly autos, but I do have 3 on the go as well as 3 photos. Those plants are super young to be giving nutrients to. I didnt feed any of mine til at least 10-14 days. Also, 3 times a day seems excessive. I water mine once every 2-4 days depending how much they've consumed and/or evaporated. Depending on the weight of the pot. If you're not experiencing over watering issues yet.....you will be. Also, watch the LST, as some autos like it and others not so much. My shorty's. ....not so much, I found out the hard way unfortunately.

Thanks for the info Guy much appreciated.

I will definitely watch out for signs of overwatering. I was just going by LEDRFs runoff method. I soaked the pots when I planted them and then gave them just enough water to get a little bit of runoff.

For sure. Cocos likely different than soil just watch your watering. Better to have the girls struggle for water for a few hours than provide it readily all the time. It makes the roots stronger by working harder.

I like to keep a written journal of exactly what I do to them each day. From topping, watering, nutrients......everything. in case something goes wrong, theirs always a way to find out what went out of whack.

So I have finally gone out and bought some distilled water since my tap was way too hot for these ladies. Dropped my ppm to 136 and I have been feeding about 8oz of water each twice a day with a 18/6 light schedule. Haven't had any issues yet besides one new leaf is a bit deformed but that's my fault, as I was watering I splashed a bit of feed on her as you can see here .

I think she'll be fine though.

Today would be day 10 from seed, lights just came on about an hour ago and just fed them their first feeding of the day

Here's an aerial view

Enjoy.

I must have just lucked into good water. I haven't PHd at all. Looking good wingingit, it's seems like just yesterday that mine were 10 days old.......wait it pretty much was, lol.

I don't want to jinx myself but I have not pH'd my water or taken a reading for parts per million. So far so good for both strains. We have limitations here of about 300 to 400 ppm from what I understand.....that's all I know. I don't know what the ppm would be, likely a cocktail just for us of sodium, potassium........ etc.

Back for a little update,

Today makes day 12
Growth has been consistent, doesn't seem to be anything stressing these ladies out so far.

I messed up and thought both of these were Champagne Super Autos but 1 is actually a different strain. I believe one to be a Fast Buds Gorilla Glue

I went ahead and germinated another Champagne so I can figure out which one is which

Here are some pics of node growth .

I have increased my feed taking my water to a PPM of 230 and ph of 5.7
I've been using the AN grow, micro, bloom as well as some calmag

Any input would be great.
Enjoy.

Just looking and the soil looks super moist, did you JUST water? Other than that.......are you mixing nutes due to the autos? They look good!

Thanks Guy.

Ya I just watered. In coco coir you want the medium to stay moist, if it dries up it creates air pockets and a bunch of other scientific terms if only I knew what I was talking about lol. Coco stays 30%more oxygenated while moist (from what I hear).

In regards to The nutes I am actually using less than what they call for but every plant is different so I am just creeping up the ppms as I go watching the plants for any sign of burn or def along the way. So far so good and they actually just woke up praying to the lights above as we speak. I'm about to go feed them now✌️

Nice touch...... I'm thinking that I definitely have to get my hands on a PPM tester..... not that it mattered so far. Likely it will just become something else that I obsess madly over LMAO.
