what up guys. great time of year, little too much heat, but got a new a/c to take care of that. This is my 2nd hydro grow. I am running quite an extensive line now, and I think I can use it properly to grow some monsters.

I am growing clones from Oaksterdam.
They are Casey Jones which is a cross of Trainwreck x Thai x Sour Diesel. It's supposed to be really pungent and easy to grow and dank. That sounds beautiful to me.
Mostly Sativa/8-9 weeks FT/energetic/grat3ful h3ad seeds

My other is Bubblegum. I personally had some of this medically bought and I think it was honestly one of the best buds I have ever smoked. It's so weird but it really had a Bubblegum smell and taste. Sweet as hell.

these are both listed in the oaksterdam nursery book. take a look in there...

My grow set up is
4 3-gal buckets w/ 6 inch net pot lids
2 dual outlet air pumps drive 4 airstones in each bucket
The air stones not only aerate my solution but since water level sits RIGHT below net pot, the bubbles that pop also water my plants via nutrient film technique, although not quite the same.

Run about 1.75-2 gal of solution in each tub. I always start with RO water. Tap water can have chlorine which can kill beneficial bacteria and of course harm your plants. Atleast here they do.

Yeah not exactly cheap. voodoo juice runs 60 for 500ml and smells like piss so...hopefully it works out!

runnin about 450 ppm ph about 5.6-5.7

pH goes up a little quick... anyone know why? goes up though so thats good. goes up from 5.6 to about 6.4 in about 4 hours....

Okay, Day 12. I had to answer my own question...(as usual). NEW INFORMATION!!

ONENESS by Humboldt Nutrients
This initially shows a really low pH (about 4.5) and then it buffers itself up to 5.5-6.5 or so. It seems to do really well after its buffered, but I can't wait 24 hours for my solution to be ready. Way too busy for that. I realized the pH kept on rising cuz I had to add a shitload of pH up and that was not a good idea in the long run.

UPDATES

I now run a new nutrient line. Advanced Nutrients. My god they are the best shit I think. I have tried Cutting Edge Solutions, General Hydro Flora Nova, Humboldt Nutrients Oneness and to be honest...advanced nutrients is the simplest. Enough hype, lemme show you some results!

I run Sensi 2 Part Grow. They had it for really cheap at my club. Sweet deal. I was reading earlier and I really think you guys should check out The Growers Underground - Bigger Buds For The Plants You Grow, Join The Nutrient Revolution they really did engineer their stuff for bud.

I run about 1100 ppm on my Bubblegum. Really nice roots.
About 600 on the Casey Jones. Not as hungry these guys.

Im a big fan of the DWC. I myself am using the dwc. I use R/0 water and everytime when I had my Dutch Masters nutes it always brings the ph down to 5.5 and 5.8. I don't know how but I never have to adjust my ph. In a couple of months I'm going to use between 10 to 20 (5) gallon dwc buckets using Dutch Masters. Good luck with your grow. sweet shit bro. DWC is awesome. just an air pump to water ur plants, aerate and agitate solution. pretty nice. I run R/O water as well. (My tap here is about 400 starting ppm!) and I use advanced nutrients. I found out that this is the only company that does research on cannabis plants. Now I can run with that.

On the other hand, I heard about Dutch Master. I heard their Gold series works great. I wil definitely check out your thread!

Okay final update

News: new digi thermostat. has separate weekend/weekday settings, you can set temp sensitivity (how much the thermo cools/heats till it shuts off) and also thermo offset. 30 bucks. amazon. nice.

plants are turbocharged. its nice. the casey jones stem is about as thick as a cigar.

Very nice grow room. I myself decided I would start with DWC. (I was kinda forced into it, a. cheap b. easy to build c. can get parts for DWC anywhere, except for the netted pots, although next time i'm at the hydro shop im gonna pic some up.) When i put my plants into the DWC and threw in the nutes,(I'm using GH FloraMicro, and FloraGro, no bloom yet, i'll get that next check.) the plants doubled in size in less than 48 hours, I now have to check out when is a good time to flower.

well the thing is when i change my nutrient solution, I have to change it one bucket at a time. The buckets are all individual (kinda pain in the ass) but grows good plants. I wanna keep my solution as much as aerated as possible so when i remove a bucket then the air pump might run too hard. two is a lot easier in the long run.
