I have an appt w/the Marijuana Medical Evaluation Center in Oakland, CA. Since I live in Sac, it's the closest. I'm not interested in some back alley doc wanting my consultation fee just to give me a card to get high with. I actually do have a medical need....spinal nerve damage, disabled due to damage, major depression and leg spasms due to syatic (sp) nerve pain. I'm seeking this avenue as all medical avenues so far have either not worked, or made things worse.
It doesn't profile their docs, completely understandable, but makes me nervous about my consult. Help? New to the Medical Cannabis society. It's a far cry different than the "dime bag" dealers we purchased from in the 80's.(yes I'm dating myself, please forgive).
