Question for starting a new grow

I have a quick question for everyone. I am about 2 to 3 weeks from harvest on a photo plant. I want to start my auto plants. It will take about 7 days or so to sprout. So I will have about 2 weeks to where my light will be on 8 hour light cycle still. So what suggestions do we have. I was thinking keep under t8 bulbs for 8 hours then stick them in with my big light for other 8.

They need a lot if light at 1st, I'd say wait till you can focus 100% on them

Thanks for the reply see that's what I'm afraid of I will top them. I was hoping 8 hours under weak light would be good enough.Thoght maybe someone has done this before.

Problem is Autos can be picky

If u stunt or slow their development it will effect things a lot
Starting at 20/4 lights, good lights, makes a huge difference

Also germ seed straight to final 3gal or 5gal pot

I'd make sure and do it right, they will love u for it

this is my gsc auto from last spring I m familiar with the autos. I start all my plants in final pots now. Maybe Santa will bring a new light.
