First time grower flowering questions

whats the best way to induce flowering? besides 12/12? i've herd people do 36hr of no light first? and also at the end of veg what should i be doing before i start flowering ?? thanks

Just switch to 12/12 after potting her up a size or two - Prepare for rapid root growth and a hungry/thirsty plant for the next few weeks.

I usually up-pot to my final size and let the get comfy for a couple of weeks. You should notice a growth spurt, as Richard has aleady said, while the roots are "reaching out" into the new grow medium. This is when I like to switch my lights to 12/12. I dont use nutes much (soil) but if you do you can continue with grow nutes for the first week to two weeks or until flowers begin to set in then switch to your flower program and maybe hit it with a p/k boost at around 3 weeks and again at 6 (for a 9-10 week strain) or just top dress with some high P guano, bubble some kelp and guano teas, AACT. But keep it simple and only do what you can afford and what you are comfortable with. Have fun, and welcome to the 420 community. I luv this place! Im out,
