Not a lot to go by here but I am going with either female or not sure yet.
They are not balls or bananas though.
It seems at the joint of new branches, these little buds pop up. They often have what looks like pistils to me and yours seems to have that but really hard to tell as they are typically and clearly white. Yours are not. That said, I still don't think it's an issue and more so, and likely, is what we get on our girls- not sure if on males as I chop down when I had them and really focuses on the balls and nanners as to my real and only concern.

How far along are you? Weeks and are they still in veg? If you switched to flower- 12/12- you should see sex in a week or two.

I think those little nodules are supports for the branches, in preparation for the heavy buds to come..Hopefully!

should check if the plant have a lot of long shaped strings, little balls are male ! but no need to worry as you should be able to pick that out before the actual flowering starts
