Giving them a "rest"

After a couple weeks of 12/12 of lights if would it cause any problems to leave it completely dark for 1 day then start the 12/12 again the next day. I just thought it would give them a needed break or will cause something unwanted to happen? Thanks in advance.

A needed break from what??? Some people leave them in the dark for a day or two before they harvest. I don't see any reason for you to give them a break, the next break they get should be chopping them down...

Sounds like you got your answer. But if you think you may be the plant whisperer, don't let us discourage you from giving it a shot. I'm pretty sure you won't do any harm, and you may have stumbled onto a hidden talent or at least a new reality show for VH1. I've read that some of the lazier mexican strains appreciate the extra rest! LMMFAO!
