Silver side of foam board ok or Mylar?

I make a new grow box 3x3x6. I used the foam board insulation and the shiny side is facing in. I'm wondering if that's enough or should I put mylar film on the inside? I seen a comment somewhere that the dull side of aluminum foil reflects more light than the shiny side.which is hard for me to believe. To me the foam board shine is kinda dull.

Not personal experience, but have read in HT years ago that reflective foam will work but wont be as efficient as mylar. Flat white paint works well also, might be cheaper to paint the foam if cost is an issue. Hope this helps and happy cultivating!

It may be cost issue but for silence or tempatures control it is so nice I'm gonna line my grow bos with 2 inch rigid foam board between frame work and cover it with this radiant derriere reflective from home dept so when it gets dull I can just change it not my insulation

I actually had the same sized box painted white and this seems loads brighter I could look inside the white box but can't look inside the foam box with all the same equipment
