Im planning a new grow, in a tent this time. Im looking for some advice on how to run the light and extraction.
I want to use a 1x1x1.8m tent with a 600w HID Air-cooled Hood. 6" Hyperfan with temp/speed controller.
I've done a drawing of two common layouts and I need some advice.
The system on the left (sealed) has the advantage of being able to introduce high quantities of Co2 but im concerned about being able to control the heat within the tent. Has anyone run a system setup like this? I am reluctant to introduce additional extraction from a cost point of view but more specifically I want to keep the noise to a minimum.
The system on the right I believe is more common and from what I can understand will have to rely on air changes to get fresh Co2 into the room. However I do think that I will be able to control the temperatures more easily.
Im new to Air-cooled hoods but not HID. I am sceptical on how well they work so any advice would be appreciated as usual.
