Winter is approaching I need suggestion on heaters

It's getting cold out my way I'm stressing the winter months I have space heaters but my room is super small it's in an attic and it get cold in there also any tips on making the snow stay on my roof haha

Reflective mylar lined along the inside of the roof and then fiberglass on top of that
