400 HPS in dresser

Putting 400 hps in a stealth dresser (pics will be posted soon) and was looking at my options on a COOL TUBE. Anyone know where I could just get a 15+ inch glass cylinder opposed to buying an exspensive one like this... 19" air cool tube Grow Light Reflector w/ cord & socket - eBay (item 260412289835 end time May-24-09 1113 PDT)

I have the light, Id just like to ditch the reflector so I can put a cool tube on it so it can go in my small spaced dresser.

I was down at the Goodwill the other day & I saw they had for sale a lamp shade from a kerosene lamp. Round, bulge in the middle, the same size on both ends, made to take the heat of open flame. I bet that might work.

I thought about building my own cool tube but the thought of exploding bulbs and glass everywhere scared me away lol.

I built one myself. You can find a pyrex tube thats about 4 inches around on ebay.
Search bake around. They used to make bread with it and its sbout 14" long.

Yep! Bake arounds are the best. Tempered glass made for baking bread in. I've made 2 tubes over the years then took one apart so I could actually use it for bread.lol

I get how you would hook up a dryer hose to a fan with one of these tubes (bake around) but how do you deal with the lamp cord coming out of one end?

I am working on that right now. Actually I have two cords, one for a duct fan attached to one side.
