Best California For Chronic Pain Sufferer?

Hello,
Floridian here thinking about moving back to California, most likely around L.A. ... Maybe The Valley. Gonna look around to buy a small Condo out there. Any advice, tips, suggestions, etc. Will keep my place in Florida. Just looking for a place on the west coast to chill, meet new friends, have fun, etc.

I like the vibe or NorCal but never been up there.

Retired and financially good.

Thanks

I like north and south . I would have to say south better for the reason it has better beach's

I am in complete agreement with CO Finest. I like them both also. So. Cal for its beaches and local mountain resorts and I love to kayak out of Newport Beach (Newport Dunes). Nor-Cal I like inland up against the foothills. In my opinion its a win win no matter where you like to live in Cali. Love San Diego also :)

I appreciate any help you may advise. Being Native Floridian I'm happy in Florida. I lived in Los Angels once back in 89-95. I enjoyed life in California back then but realize it's different now. I enjoy target shooting at the range (I like Guns), muscle cars, old school BMX, typical guy stuff. I am Republican but have liberal views. I would choose Colorado but never been to that state. I already know the San Fernando Valley area in LA but traffic, overpopulation, rude/materialistic mindset is common out there. No kids, divorced, early 50s. I'm financially set. I would never be a leach off society and I enjoy volunteering with abused/rescued Animals.

Bottom line Medical Marijuana helps my pain immensely. No other remedy does what MM does. Florida is at least 3 years out from the day people can walk in to a store a buy it.

Any Advise - Much Appreciated :peace:  :peace:

Hi MJRay,

I agree San Fernando area really is horrible for traffic in my opinion. Do you have any other issues with health besides chronic pain? Issues like dampness, etc? I personally like the I.E (inland empire). The climate is dryer as well as hotter temperatures. 45 minutes from the mountains, 1hr to the beach and a plethora of casino's if that type of entertainment is enjoyed. Lot's of excellent growers (So. Cal is the largest amount of indoor growing in the world). Herb is plentiful. Traffic is bad just about everywhere. I put up with it because of excellent meds and I too like helping out in the community (animals and people). Its almost like a double edged sword, traffic vs. meds. I pick meds. That being said, a RV, travel trailer, etc, opens up many escapes to national parks abound. A lot of animals in the I.E. including a lot of horse communities. Hope this helps.

I tried unsuccessfully to private message you. I need higher post count. What about Palm Springs or Desert Springs? I dont know at all the Inland Empire area.

I have found CO weather close to CA. Only have to mow about five months out of the year. Snow not to bad most years. It will be snowing with 20deg and the next day will be sunny and 68. Can shoot all over in this state. Hunting, shooting ranges and drive to mountains to unload. The mag ban is just news bs. we can still get anything we want if you know and are trusted by shop owners. People are a little to friendly. I am still not use to that, coming from CA

MJRay,

Palm Springs/Desert Springs is about 10-15 degrees hotter than where I live in the (Riverside area). They have a lot going on and the winters are decent (except an occasional dust storm). Air conditioning and inside cures that. Lots of arts and crafts out in Palm Springs and downtown is a festive community chalked full of some culinary delightful restaurants. Also next door to Palm Springs (Indio) they have the 'Stagecoach' music festival annually featuring the top country singers. Redlands is a nice community with old town tradition (google satellite) and nestled next to San Bernardino (gateway to mountain resorts-San Bernardino gets a big no from me). Another mention is Corona, located in Orange County, right where Riverside county starts.

Also a mention to think about; cannabis concentrated oil is the best pain med in the world. This might be of interest, one of many threads I mention the oil for chronic pain. } Cronic Pain Is My Life

Hi MJRay,

Sorry Brother...a strict rule regarding members hooking up is in place. It is for members protection against rip-off's, selling/buying snake oil, robbery, and set-ups. It is available in legal states. High grade bud is plentiful, but, unfortunately high grade oil is not (most dispensaries). It is really easy to make your own concentrate knowing you start with high end flowers. There is an abundance of CO2 oil, BHO/Wax/Shattered glass but is just for smoking (cold extract's have not been decarboxylated-that happens when smoked).

I have a hard time keeping my group of friends (co-op) supplied from A-Z aliments. I would strongly recommend asking around about medically concerned co-ops (google also). Knowledge abound and cost is shared. Sorry about the disappointment, if I broke my word with 420 Magazine I couldn't share my knowledge to others spreading awareness about concentrated cannabis oil. Hope you understand.
