an effective way to clean up vessels used in making rso by making a pain reliving topical balm. the oil residue left after reduction is very difficult to remove, this is a excellent recycle method that utilizes coconut oil and a wonderful product known as tiger balm used as a topical for sore muscles etc. the oil that remains in the evaporation pan is absorbed in the coconut oil..
1.oil left in pan 2. two ounces coconut oil 3. four grams tiger balm
add coconut oil to pan warm on hot plate, the residual oil will bind with coconut oil easily when fluid, when well blended add tiger balm, mix well, pour into small jars. this is a very soothing and effective topical balm for muscle pain, back pain, congestion etc.

tiger balm contains champor and clove oil so keep away from eyes.

One should be extremely careful around Camphor and clove oil. Both are Known to cause contact burns.
Camphor can cause severe irritation as it sublimates rapidly. Clove oil can cause an allergic reaction.

Another thing to watch out for is that Camphor is also quite flammable. So take precautions if you are making your own balm.

I don't care for cloves (in any form), and your concerns about camphor oil are not unwarranted. Perhaps a light, clean vegetable oil along with some menthol?

Tiger Balm... Hmm... Used to be a woman(?) who went by that handle, that posted here. And at the General Hydroponics blog. Always had the feeling she was an employee, lol.
