Re: SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

I had mixed olive oil with some dried bud ready to infuse in a bath but had to leave it for a few weeks in the fridge. Some mould spores started. But very minimal. I removed most of the affected mix. But should I chuck it all or am I okay to continue making an infused oil from it??

It depends on your sensitivity to molds and the type of mold. If it's grey, black, green or pink chuck it. They can produce dangerous toxins that may remain after you remove the visible mold. The part of mold you see is just the fruiting body. Most of the mold is invisible root-like hyphae that have worked their way through the buds. Heating the oil during infusion and decarb will kill the hyphae and spores but not eliminate the toxins.

If it's white it should be fine after heating except for people that are sensitive to mold. I'm not an expert on mold toxicity, so key word is "should". Use your own judgment. If you can get by without it I would. And of course if you notice anything weird or off if you try it.

KingrAbbi... is right.when in doubt throw it out.. or something like,that... moldy oil what would you eat it with like a salad? Use on your skin, feet, can't hurt outside if it don't stink. I wouldn't eat it.

    Sue,
The video explained to me what has happened to me... thank you.

Hmm ok a link.. one day pics.

It works like gabapetin and lyrica are supposed. And with cannabis you don't get poisoned. Sue, it become apparent 10million spine, nerves, have been soaked, sacked and had by the New Jersey mob, big pharmacy. NIH has the data, patent and we suffer... oowwwwww.
Good thing I've mellowed.....but it means they know of what they do. And we were the guinea pigs 🐷 and political pawn , 🦐...
I,had thought the nerves in my legs felt way different, numbed out. Functional numb. Feels weird, but ,,sue I'm alive today still. Standing up.
Xoxo xoxo o thanks again for the video. I'm done figuring out if my regime was responsible, did,the oil play a part, .. how long will, this last.. I'm so scared to go,back......

That was an excellent video, wasn't it? I keep replaying it. There must be something in it my brain hasn't picked up on yet. That's usually the way it goes with these things the universe sends me. There's something I needed to hear and feel that'll clear up a question I have. I just don't always know what the question was at first. Ahhh... the thrills of an inspired life.

I can understand your fear, but it's groundless. You won't be going back. You not only found cannabis, you schooled yourself in methods to properly process that precious flower into potent healing medicine and trained yourself through the grueling path of trial-and-error to find administration methods that complimented your lifestyle and offered you the greatest relief.

That took great courage Marc. There's no way you could go back to the man who took the pills the doctor prescribed with mindlessness. You've evolved, and there's no turning back from that. I'm thankful that part of your growing brought you to us so you could continue to learn and share with others what worked for you. Cannabis expresses so individually that we need massive amounts of documentation to sort through when we go looking.

Trial-and-error experimenting with cannabis is fun. No side effects and no chance of addiction or death take all the stress out of it. Since the ECS runs best when you're laughing and feeling playful and joyful this is a good thing.

Having weathered the ravages of diabetes with my late husband, neuropathy among them, it can be painful to realize the relief we could have found with a better supply of cannabis. What we did for 34 years was survive, but never enough to heal. Hearing about others getting the relief he couldn't used to be just as painful to me. It's indicitative of how much I've healed since his death that reading your post brought only joy that you weren't suffering with that anymore.

I'll let out a little whoop of joy, if that's alright with you.

Re: SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

SweetSue Thank you for,the well written reply.
There so much there. I,will respond in serial fashion one per section.
First, look bud peeking out of the rain tent. Hurray gallery is live and pictures move. That tent been on and off past few weeks . Once a month earlier. Girls were seeds I found in my mMj sack. Three Tahoe purps and three sin mint cookies. Of which four went to flower. I,think all six were auto, flower seeds of way different strains. More later...

That video is a 2017 version of the old school neurological model. It's so much better one can begin to understand the human nervous system, and I get the feedback neural loop modulation , as I understand physics and electronics and engineer, and now cannabis truth s .
Do you pictorially see why I walk with out pain? That numbed in pain but can walk stand . Create things again. So you have a feel for human nerve system? The way it's shown is visually A+ ,

Sue, point and shoot, non contact thermometer. Read in a second. Use IR , infra-red emission to,figure surface temperature. Use to cost way over 200. Then 100, now these are 10,bucks delivered. A must for everybody. Make sure frigerator is set just right. Find flaws in walls, hot spots colds spot.. my gosh give this to an engineer and watch him point and shoot. Lol but for oil making it's a must.

Sue thanks to you and lab rat and motoco, RIP, and all I found a way to get out of that ....prison.
I am now "the cannabis witch doctor"....

Sue, I'll jump, way ahead... I have had any oxycodone in 48 hours. So, radogast said make a goal. It was zero roxy. Well
9/11 will,be freedom day for me, always. As was I/13/2017, the day I,woke up got our,of bed and felt no,pain...for like 12 hours.
I read about oxycodone and morphine , and the new shit... omg ... they not only know, they designed this drug mostly to,sell, with the test kit, to make sure you are taking it and not diverting it. Sue think about for. A second. You are in horrid pain. You need help. Why divert that crap, and not take it if it worked really really well. Like would you buy a sack of top, shelf weed, bring it home , then just sell it and not try the weed? At this point I'll take a sack of weed over handful of roxy, couldnt do,that in march of 2017 every four hours.. and was in horrid pain in between the hours. Now.........
"Free at last, Free at last, Thank you Lord Cannabis set me free again"
I'm back... so they won't actually say what the markers are. That's thempatent, it can't help pain. And I,think it makes you sicker.
More, you know how some, asshole, believe that MJ is a gateway to,..'get this' heroin ... I never thought that to be true.
Now, for me mJ was a deterrent to roxycodone. Specifically, the amount I took went down from the first medical marijuana sack purchase. Fast forward about 24 grams of CCO later.. I'm roxy free.
    So....yahooo ...yahoo... xoxoxox. All around...

Ok doesn't that indicate that thc is actually a ...protagonist to opiate use and users? Like, pot head arent smackie.. I knew that as a kid in NYC streets... super fly herion .. from poppy to opium, just oil of poppy. , then if you synthesize it that herion. They maybe should have stopped at tincture of opium. Doc holiday out shot 14 men, drunk and drinking tincture of opium for a decade by then. He had tuberculosis.. Just a thought that all plants, are here for us, why pick on any one. Grapes wine. Good. Mess with wine, i.e. Distilled, then it's gin. ok that kills 5% of the population. Hmmm coca leaf.. harvest and cure, pop into mouth, avoid altitude sickness, fatigue, take more, stay up.. people eating leave for only several thousand years. Ok bake it on your stove with lye and shit like that cocaine. Really, why not enjoy the leaf. There would,be no cockney illicit traffic if leaf was legal for import world wide. Some pot farmer in Ecuador would, have the equivalent of 'coffe' to,harvest and sell. They need to buy a senator.. lol.. sue I was in Taiwan , my mission to return with a box of first run plastic, to mate with first run electronics, all coming together in hq. it wasn't happening.. we had to work 24 hours to make it. As my transport already locked. Instead these guys went for all, nighters. Apparently it's rare, but when they do it, they have these stands all over Taiwan, pretty young girls and bright lights, wtf?? They sell beetle nuts. These are the palm nut , version of cocaine. You chew the bug , it absorbs i your mouth you feel ..awake and alive.. very exhilarating..the nuts also, come split with.. weak lye?? (Sue, I never could get answer to what it was) white powder with no taste at all. Holy crap, that made it nuclear.. so,it,continues. Plant naturally gets you high, plant extract is better, synthetics . Gotta kill you u.

Oops .. was supposed to,one part of answer back.. a rant

The next pet was thanking you for a reply and even taking note, that anything at all occurred. I told my pain manger PA, I was feeling better. She said I looked better, and refilled 1800mg morphine, 3600mg oxycodone ...wait and I'll,eat about.....4000 mg of CCO oil, this month at this rate.. sue the thc is just over whelming the smack.. cause now, I consume only the 1800 mg of morphine. I think it's morphine. ....

Scared, I'm scared or was.. your reply made me think. Tia..
Sure if it returned, the made pain, take pain killer? Idk. See this wasn't heroic at all, sue. The eaten thc, relieved the pain, I forgot to,take roxy at first, say April 2017, but by July the forget was not take.. when I stood up one day I took nothing well in 18 hours I was sick and took pills to make it stop... seriously sue I was reading your reply Sunday pm, and was sick from no roxy, I was down to one a day. So it was gonna be one a day ...forever. Nope, I got double chcoclate, eat junk food, smoked a pipe, started two seeds germinating I just found in weed purchase I add ina 500 and ounce town. I found special ..drove.. and got really good weed, 275 ounce out the door, higher than should be, in Colorado this stuff is on sale 75-125 ounce. Found two,seeds..

I told my heart doctor what had been going on sound last year. Here the response I get .. mostly..

    BLINK_BLINK , crooked smile , "doh" '-♂️ ."blink. Blink .

Turn away as if I said ..nothing..hmmm.
Any patient, they want my leftover pills.. omg that's the reply the revelation of a miracle, god in whatever form you may believe, could have walked into my bedroom, struck my spine with a serpent, and said 'thou be healed, get up and do stuff boy "the general pubic response is no more than blink blink . Crooked smile.' I,sense they think my depravity leads me to drink absithne, from a lady's slipper to,get my rocks off... lol quite an image right there...

Well, thanks for any reply, and thanks for your amazing reply. I'll take time posting back. Less typos.
And I want to take some photo, enter a contest I found the site . Lol sue you do,realize I found motoc 420 page ina search, and never went to 420,till moments ago..now I'm so busy, from lying here dying ..a short time ago.

    Sue, para graph three..

Yes evolve is a fine description of everything that's going on. All,for, the better. So, let just say what I think it was for me. Not trial and error. Sue ima formally trained electrical, engineer . Trial, and error is a sorting method not a way of life for me. This was directed inspired the entire way through. And, I continue to read and learn more. I've worked 14 hours so far today. Sue I can't actually stand is what I'd tell, you not that long ago. I'll keep trying to write s app will blog this so we all can have it.

Sue, this experience so far has effected every single, aspect of my life. Interpersonal, finanacial, health, social mental, and all at once. I tell you it's astonishing. That's the word. I've found another reference to Greek use of cannabis, they mixed middle eastern weed with Italian red wine. I am eyeing a vessel to do,just that for posterior... of course to,oilers, the red wine with a nice dried sticky will slowly dissolve all,the cannoids of the leaves into, the best wine they had for certain. I wonder what type of wine. Red of course. Chianti? A sweet red? I'll use chianti. Sue baby step and after 14 hours the last hours steak, rice .came out great.. and peas. With chai to. Sue. I haven't eaten like that in well over a year.

Re: SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

    Last paragraph,and close.
Ok end of off topic thread. But my favorite I'll blog and keep,it cause. So much occurred around me during it. From Irma, My thoughts, ravages of withdrawal, ecstasy of find the truth about ... a lot . Cannabis oil,,cannabis extracts and tincture are well known to humans. The knowledge goes back ...omg.. like 5000, 5550 ,almost 6000 years in recorded history. So, in Pre -historic, prior to,written, use your imagination. Plant is a weed with properties. Israelites used it for child birth. It's been found inside tombs in Egypt. If you about Egypt they spent a tone of focus on the hereafter, yet it's the circle of life. They brought cannabis for the kings trip across the river of death, to be reborn.. so,they packed what he needed... the use goes on. And the abuse of the legal stuff , oh my I feel like I've bee/n duped, robbed left for dead, and a reborn, seeing clearly where I went only now,as I'm not there at all.
    I researched withdrawal. I didn't realize that
Crying was such a large part of withdrawal. No one talks of it.
So sue that's a nugget for the dark side.. guys have to learn to cry. Cause your gonna be crying a whole lot so you may as well, enjoy it. As much as you can.. sounds weird right?

Ok officially, some NIH addiction site .. I'm at the worst part of withdraw. From roxycodone.72-96 hours at zero. Recalling 120 mg/day to 30 cause I forgot, to zero in a few days. Consuming my same pain relief CCO infused chocolate. 100-300 mg by mouth, 40-200 mg smoke as needed. And I feel, great. Your reply , at that moment I read it, felt like crap, and fell asleep. When I awoke that was t'he last stab like that... that was Sunday. It's Tuesday and I prepared, and ate a compete steak dinner.

I am so,sorry to learn you had to observe diabetes death of a spouse. ..And now to rebuild your life.
Diabetes is a tough disease..pancreas and all involved..sugar yum , honey yum, maple syrup yum . It's the fake sugar, sans stevia not so bad..I wouldn't eat it unless I was diabetic, but corn syrup and other fake sugar, no that's a tax dodge. Sue, you know sugar, ethanol that fix us in. Deep. World sugar 25 cents pound. Usa ,subsidized 2.50 a pound, benefits like six uber rich estates in Louisiana and Florida. The rest of the 300 million pay extra IR get drake sugar. If they dtopped that we'd get real sugar in everything. Yum.

    Ok sorry..sugar and all. Does CCO oil help diabetes in a significant way? Nit sure how to burn up that sugar. It's the unsee sugar that causes all the problems. Otherwise, it's clean body fuel. The neurological s,age isbtreayed with gabapetin, and its offspring. That shit is rough on your guts. Slow and steady kill .. he had that right. Worked at first. Miracle lasted about 3 months. Six onths in you try to stop can't or increase to get relief. Sick.. I stopped thatbfirst, too. Like by April,folks, I,have my drug use well,documented. I'll get a copy. Gaba is the other channel like the thc receptor. Sue I tried both. I like the thc-9 complex for neurologial pain without the;
    Skin death
    Stomach death
    Colon death
Scalp open into psoriasis like thing

And there is no psychoactive effect..big deal huh.. why is getting a buzz a big deal? Idk? I wish that attitude would stop and people grow up.

Sue, the olive oil route, I imagine that can be a low temp long steep and filter, the spent buds in week? At roomtemp?
Or 1-2 hours 180-200 F, and filter spent buds? Which or another?
Ten have do,you use that oil??
You. Mix with lecithin and encapsulate?
    Use in salad?
You know me and chocolate . I use coconut oil 180-200 hot oil. Cool oil for.. choice
Now I prefer, gwet ice cold short exposure extract and evaporate. Use oil bath.

My grow, has been more directed than trail, and error. I got seeds by accident it came in one of the first sacks I cooked into coconut oil. I got and grew two sin mint cookies. I used only lst and got a bush of colas, I'll get pics and put in grow or something. Then next arch or so, I got Tahoe purps, they are growing too. Big girls, all icky and sticky. I'll,show ya. All,accidental weed. No grow place not even dirt. Lol
That will all change as I am a builder, an engineer and I stand again.
    Xoxoxo sue.

Re: SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

Marc, here I am. You must have thought I was ignoring you. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have too many plants and took on a sponsor that requires me to let some of them go to accomodate a dedicated grow in one of my tents. Then I had a harvest, and all the attending fun that goes with that. As you can imagine, that took a chunk of time.

Delightful reading, my friend. I have one of those thermometers. KeifKeith's son bought it for me as a gift for helping them key in a regimen for his rare condition. Had to laugh at the reference to giving one to an engineer. Give one to a curious woman, and the same thing happens. Lol! It is the coolest toy.

I appreciate the observations on whole plant vs synthetic or extract. Pharma companies keep producing synthetic versions of THC when it's common knowledge by now that patients don't take kindly to pure THC, never have, never will. The ECS is set up to shut down receptors with that much THC running around. The system isn't designed to run that hot. That's why cannabis has a myriad of other components that work in synergy with THC to modulate its effects.

In every case you complicate the picture when you go for isolates. That's why pharma drugs have such disastrous side effects. The body system doesn't like too much of anything. When powerful men conspired to shut down herbal medicines we weren't the society we are now. We have this wonderous thing called the Internet that effectively opened all of the doors they'd tried so desperately to keep shut for decades.

It can be disheartening to realize how much knowledge we lost about cannabis, but I choose to see it in an alternate, more positive vision. We now have the technology to decipher and research the effects of cannabis in a way that never existed before. We're in the infancy stages of understanding that healing force evolved to spontaneously heal you, the ECS, and when we begin to gain greater aptitude in both administering cannabis in specific disease states and learning how the ECS responds to our interventions, all bets are off. It'll revolutionize the world as we know it.

Free industrial hemp and before you know it we won't have to deal with oil spills anymore and the sheiks will be forced to find other funding for their excesses.

Thank you for the condolences. We are eternal beings. It took my husband's passing for me to fully understand the significance of that truth, but grasping it has transformed my life and placed me firmly in a path devoted to learning the Art of Deliberate Manifestation. I'm having more fun than Dale and I ever dreamed of having, and I know without doubt that his spirit revels in my evolution.

By the time he passed he knew I'd become SweetSue, and he was reassured that I had a virtual family he believed would watch over me. An watch over me they did. They were brilliant in their care. They saved me from grief. I'm theirs 'till I drop.

I believe diabetes can be controlled with the administration of 50 mg of THC, every 8 hours. This is essentially what I had my BIL on before he had his stroke - approx. 100 mg of CBD a day and 50 mg min. THC every 8 hours. Within a two week period most of his symptoms had stabilized. On top of that his bipolar reactionism disappeared, and he became an entirely different personality within a month.

This is powerful medicine. We have no idea yet how powerful, but I'm convinced that there isn't a human condition that couldn't be improved with the use of cannabis or hemp. We're going to watch the world change to Planet Sativa in our lifetime.

To answer the question on oil, it depends on the method chosen. My favorite is infused on the day of harvest. This has proven to be the most potent and expressive oil I make, and it's quickly replacing CCO in our home. About the only reason I'd produce CCO anymore would be for cancer treatment or opioid withdrawal, and I use the method set out by Tim in the Making CCO thread.

With CCO, the olive oil and liquid sunflower lecithin are used as a carrier in the making of biobombs. The team worked up some basic guidelines for the measurements and they're in the BioBomb thread. Have you checked that one out yet? Here's a link, in case you missed it.

So it took approx 28 grams of CCO to do the trick for you? How many grams do you think you take in a day, and what was your highest dose usage in the process? By that I mean at what point in the withdrawal do you take the highest dose? This question assumes that as you progress through withdrawal the needs for THC will increase dramatically at some point.

It's important to me to understand this process, and I won't be going through withdrawal in my lifetime, if I have anything to do with it. Life can take some crazy twists and turns, can't it? You've seen your share of them.

Back to the oil. My second favorite method of infusing with olive oil is a 36-Hr infusion and decarb in the oven on the lowest setting, shaking every time you think of it. Easy as pie and very potent oil, when you're done.

I always use lecithin in my oil making, most often adding at the end. Then the trick is to mix thoroughly and refrigerate for 24 hours before you use the oil. This allows the lecithin to encapsulate the oil-bonded cannabinoids and gets them absorbed into the system like a freight train on steroids. Seriously, with liquid sunflower lecithin you'll feel the effects within 10 minutes, and then it slams into you again about an hour to 90 minutes later. Use one tablespoon of lecithin for every cup of carrier oil.

I use olive oil for medicinal oils, and coconut for recreational or liver disease. Olive is a long-chained fatty acid, and will be absorbed into the lymphatic system before First-Pass through the liver, gaining additional time to locate and signal needy cells before the bloodstream whisks them back to the liver. Coconut oil is a medium-chained fatty acid and goes straight to the liver where the cannabinoids run the gauntlet of liver enzymes charged with metabolizing them. It helps tremendously to use methods of competitive inhibition to distract the enzymes with numbers of other components they also metabolize. Kinda like a flash mob in your liver.

Incidentally, have you ever tried eating the leftover mash of an infused oil? I used to toss it after I worked to extract every bit with boiling water. PITA. Now I let the oil drain with gravity as my friend, squeeze out the rest and then refrigerate the mash, eating a spoonful a day. I find it tasty, and I know it's nutritious. Worth considering.

    SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

Hi Sue - I haven't checked in at this thread for a while, but your comment just above about eating the leftover mash reminded me that I've been wanting to update you on our 36 hour infusion adventures. I only had a very small amount of dry herbs left so used some of it, maybe 3 g, and half a cup of olive oil and it's worked out okay. I'm finding it quite useful to turn down the pain in my legs, and my lovely other is using it to transition off a very mild dose of oxy post surgery. It was super easy to make - had to source the liquid lecithin out of the country but it arrived quickly (good old iherb SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall)!
And I took your advice and kept the mash, it's quite tasty mixed in with my muesli yoghurt and LSA SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall.

It's a tiny amount but it's lasting well enough as we only need a tiny dose, .5 - 1ml, for the required therapeutic effect (the other says it's good for the pain, and for the mood problems that come with the oxy withdrawal).

Some of what I had was some I was given by a friend and he thought it might've been northern lights, I think he was remembering correctly, cause it's got quite a narcotic effect (I took a higher dose one day for fun and it was fun-ny SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study HallSweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study HallSweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall). The other is not a weed user anymore and is 'trace element sensitive' so it's working well there at low dose SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall.

So anyway, thanks Sue and all for the work - and help and advice.

Every time you share advice with one person here, you actually share it with many more. There's no end to the questions I haven't had to post because the answers were already shared. That said, I love how this wonderful community are also quite happy to share again and again if one is unable to trawl for answers and just asks for a quick info fix!

I'm rambling - I haven't had any weed today, it's 5oclock, what's wrong with me? In the spirit of SweetSue: 'Better fix that right now!' ...

    Hello Sue

I am new to the forum. I need help with my mother treatment, if possible. 3 weeks ago she had a powerful stroke. Now she's in bed unable to speak and right side of the body cannot move. Also she has type 2 diabetes. I was wondering what kind of oil can i give her. Now she takes blood thinners( clexane, plavix). And a few other pills that they give after stroke and for stomach. Also she has a nasty rash on her body even before the stroke. Thank you in advance if you can give me some advice.

Delighted to hear others are eating up the leftovers

Sue somewhere in recent past we spoke about how long it lasts. I have a small jar thats been in the fridge for over 2 months now. No signs of spoilage, mold or funny smells.

The mash is in the the same little jar it was cooked in for decarb and infusion so everything is sterilized.

Old bear favorite - mash some extra olive oil and a mix of white and cider vinegar makes a pleasant salad dressing.

Good morning cdeathony. So sorry to hear the family has to make their way through this. The blood thinners will be a concern, since CBD will block their metabolism. The medical team will need to be alert so they can track her blood levels more carefully. The solution is to adjust the thinners down a notch if problems arise, not to cut back on the cannabinoid therapy.

The early days following a stroke can be frightening, but the human body is a restorative machine, and many stroke patients make remarkable comebacks. The brain will express CB2 receptors in the damaged portions of the brain in an attempt to clear the damage.

You want to look for an oil high in CBD, but containing THC as well. The major cannabinoids potentiate each other, so use that to your advantage. The casual standard is to go with a CBD-rich oil with as much THC as the patient will tolerate comfortably. You could start with an oil almost purely CBD if euphoria is a problem for your mother.

Here's a link to an article at Mass Roots that lists the studies done with stroke victims and cannabinoid therapies. Does Cannabis Help Stroke Victims? | MassRoots The article can be helpful in reassuring you that cannabinoid therapy is the way to go. In Israel CBD is the first line response to head trauma of any sort, including stroke.

Dosing guidelines still apply. Start low and increase slowly. This admonition is mostly for THC, due to the psychoactive nature of the molecule. You can get CBD doses in the range of 200 mg a day fairly quickly with a challenge like you're facing. Does your mother have any experience with cannabis? If not, start with a lower dose for the first three days to help the system acclimate to the phytocannabinoids.

The nasty rash is likely caused by inflammation in the gut. All skin conditions like this are related to the gut health. It can be an enormous challenge to get someone to take the steps to make healing of the gut progress with any real speed, but some strong probiotics in the range of 50 billion cultures per capsule administered for a minimum of three months will go a long way to making the shift to a healthier gut community.

I drink organic apple cider vinegar every day, one tablespoon in eight ounces of water with a bit of stevia to cut the tartness, three times a day, at least. The value in this practice is that the components in the ACV will bind to things that need to be removed from the gut, but are typically removed by the resident probiotics. Because the ACV fills this function the probiotics get to hang around in the gut doing their own magic to create gut homeostasis.

If you have access to a good cannabis topical you'll likely be able to make the rash clear up, but remember that rash is just a symptom of something much more serious going on deep within her.

Get her laughing and keep it up. There's no better medicine than unbridled joy. The release of tension frees the Endocannabinoid system to hear the call of struggling cells. That tension-free environment is the best thing you can do to support your ECS.

If she's not already taking them, Omega-3 fish oil capsules contain the building blocks of cannabinoids. Your mother's system is probably lacking in Omega-3 and, like most of us, is probably overloaded in Omega-6, which contributes to inflammation. Shoot for 1000 mg of Omega-3 a day.

Lecithin capsules were something my mother insisted on when my older brother had a stroke years ago. Not a bad idea to seek them out too. My brother recovered almost 100% following her advice.

I'm going to encourage you to ask questions until you feel confident that you understand what you'll be dealing with and are comfortable with it. No one here will consider any question too basic or odd. Just keep asking until you feel confident.

I neglected to mention that I'll do a little research for you on diabetes. I had my BIL under control with 50 mg of THC every eight hours. He has a high tolerance for THC. In a patient like your mother suppositories may be a better administration method for that much THC.

Let me do some digging on that. I'll get back to you on it later today.
