CBC News - Nurses won't give cannabis oil to son who suffers seizures

I heard this interview on CBC this morning and wondered what others on 420 think? It's probably more common than necessary but since I've just started researching concentrated cannabis oil for my personal use, it seems ludicrous, too.

Here's a link to the article/interview:

I looked up two things from the article that I didn't know. One was what a G-Tube is (it's a feeding tube directly into the abdomen) and the other was info about the disease that the kid has, Cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome. Here's what Wikipedia says about it:

Cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is it really that hard to get an 11-year-old boy to take his medicine, in this case, the CCO? I don't know so that's why I decided to post it here. I mean, am I missing something?
