Hey, i am sitting with a potent block of hash, and wondered if i could create and e juice with thc from that. I have been scouring the internet for guides and help on it, but i have not found much. Everything is made from buds and leafs. But of what information i could find, i got to this conclusion of a process.
First i decarbed the hash in the oven at 250f for 30 minutes.
Then i put the hash and in little container
Pour in alcohol(isopropyl 99%), 5x amount of hash
Shake until hash is absorbed in alcohol
Pour some alcohol to wet coffee filter (so it doesn't absorb your oil)
Pour through coffee filter into another container
Pour alcohol/hash solution through coffee filter again, this time into pyrex or plate (something i can scrape)
Then i made a double boiler, until alcohol has evaporated
So now i got my oil from the hash, and i had a good feeling about this.
Next i froze the oil to make it easier to work with
Then put it in a 10 ml container with a base pg50/vg50 at a ratio 1:2
Then i put it in a bowl of boiling hot water, and the oil and base started to melt together.
But when i tried to smoke it, it tasted like shit. Almost as you could taste the alcohol, and it had small "hash particles in the oil" looked liked sand.
Have anyone tried to do this or have any ideas on what i done wrong? Its my first time experimenting with this, so i have no clue..
