Marihuana and Chronic Pain by Anonymous

In January of this year I suffered through a steel plate and ten screws being installed in my fibula -- that's the small leg bone above the foot. The doctor has prescribed many things to help with the constant pain, none of which work nearly as well as a big fat green bud joint. I can regulate how high I get and how much pain I endure by putting my fatty down. I've been smoking ganja for a long time recreationally, but now that I find myself in constant pain I also have noticed that it really does take the edge off. I now have quite a collection of medications for pain I don't use. I choose cannabis because I know it works from my own experience and it frees me from being betrothed to a corporate whore for relief.
