1st Coco Groesbeck Ever!

This will be the first time I grow in coco, and to top it off I can't afford any PH testing kit, PH control kit or the calcium magnesium supplement I need for coco. I originally had made a space bucket for the grow, but I've decided to upgrade to a closet instead. For the lights I will be using 4 23W 6500K and two 15W 2700K CFL's, I plan to add more when the plants get bigger. For flower I intend to use 14 23W 2700K and 6 23W 6500K CFL's. What do y'all think, any tips will be greatly appreciated!

So here they are as of today Thursday 3/2/17, they have came a long way and seem to be growing big and healthy. I have also started taking them out to get some good ol sunlight, there is nothing better than that big massive fission reactor in the sky to power photosynthesis in my plants, and the best part it's free! I left them under a shady area for the first day, the second day I left them out for about 2 hrs, and today I left them out for a good 5 hrs (I'm still not letting direct sunlight hit them though, I set them under a mosquito net).

This one was the one looks like it has some abnormal growth, I don't know if this is a deficiency or if it is a deformity due to the first leaves being stuck for a while. It had some sort of membrane from the seed shell stuck to them, I did not try to take that membrane off since I was scared I would have broken the little delicate sprout so I just let nature take its course. So what do y'all think, is that the cause of the abnormal growth? Or is it some sort of nutrient deficiency?

By the way does anyone know how to change the name of the post? I meant to write 1st coco grow ever but the dang spellcheck on my phone messed it up!

I'm so happy to see them grow so well, I can't wait to switch them over to flower. This was some really good bag seed, the person I got this from claimed that it was sweet island skunk and the nugz did look similar to it. The only problem was that they grew it in the mountains and did not bother to remove all of the males, so it did have quite a few seeds in it.

I'm so surprised I have not screwed this up! I have no way to measure PH, EC, PPM or any calmag supplement and they seem to be just fine! Here is an update of my girls!

This is the one that was deformed, it stoped producing new vertical growth but I did notice that it had begun branching out, so I just topped instead of cutting it down. I felt bad killing the por little thing, I hope I don't feel bad when harvest time comes Lol!

You're doing really well considering your situation with no meters but as they get older the demands for nutrition become more demanding and more specific ( referring ppm ) I wish you luck and will drop in again. Once again good luck and have fun
