First of all, hello everyone.

Glad to be part of this community.

This will be the journal of my 2nd grow ever and my first on the Equator.

I had a thread going in outdoor grow but very little feedback. So I post here in hope of more interest / information, tips and comments.

The grow has now been going for... About 39 days

White Grapefruit *Female seeds* and Panama *Ace seeds*

Some pics over the days.

Right now, the smallest plant, which had major heat stress, still has no sideleaves and is pretty small.

The other one is about 17 inches, about to be transfered outside to flower.

Not sure what to do with smallest, waith till 18 and flower even if no sideleaves...

Last pic 2 days ago.

Day 41.

Will transfer big plant into 5 gallon bucket and bring it outside on day 45.

What to do about floppy bottom leaves on big plant? One is so floppy it touches the bucket, clip it?

About small plant, what should I day about it, should I transfer her at 18 inches and trhow her outside anyway?

She still is heat stressed, that plant has had problems from the start, I had to pull the seed shell off after quite a few days of germination without wanting to fall alone, since then grow has been slow and plant has been heat stressed way too much. The bulb is 6 inches away, I feel no heat with my hand over plant.

Thanks for help!

Heres pics.

Plants on day 51.

I had some an accident. Had some non-weed friendly people over for a few days and couldnt really get in the closet.

A bulb fell and burnt leaves / heat stressed one of my plants.

I chopped the leaves and removed the curled small sideleaves that suffured from heat and dried out.

Moved both plants outside.

After 3 days outside, I have some bad pest problems (Grosshoppers / Ants or something like this) eating the leaves.

I checked the whole plants but no signs of insects here.

They had a rough first few days out, lots of tropical rain.

Heres pictures of well camouflaged plants, looking for advise on organic (and accessible.......) pest control or insect repellent.

Thanks!

Day 7 outside.

For pest Ive been using both a Homeade garlic spray on ground and a Chili / Peppermint / Garlic / Cigarettes spray on the plants.

Both plants (20 inches when put outside) streched to 42 inches in 7 days....

I dont have a good place to hide 80 inches monsters so heres my next question, how can I minimise their stretch?

Thanks for feedback, heres pictures...

Some news even if no interest so far.

The Panama have been highly affected by the grasshoppers, they mowed down fan leaves and cut down side branches and other branches. I have controlled it somewhat with homemade organic repellent but not so much as it cannot be sprayed on flowers.

It is now about 60 inches... 3 times what it started with after a bit more than 2 weeks out. Had it had lots of sidebranches, it woulda been a monster.

As for the hibrid, it grew well, has tons of flowers and nice glossy leaves. It is about 48-50 inches, 2.5 times it original size.

Here is some pics, 1st Panama, pest infested.

Then the White Grapefruit.

It's tough outside with insects especially on the equator.

Your plants are still vegging so still lots of things you can spray to make the plant unpalatable to them, like neem oil, homemade Rosemary juice. Check out Conradinos journals lots of advice on how to keep your plants alive in the wild.

Hello everyone, sorry for not updating in so long.

First my flash with the pictures died, and then my camera got broken.

I left for an 8 days trip and got a new camera. But didnt buy an sd card and couldnt find the ones I have laying around so....

I have some updated pictures of day 35 flowering.... But very few cause of almost no internal memory.

Last time I mesured the plants was 10 days ago. They had that height:

The 100% sativa was 72 inches tall (started at 20 inches, 3.5 times higher than it started at)....

The hybrid was 58 inches inches tall (started at 20 inches, about 3 times higher than what it started at)....

Massive cola growing on the hybrid.

Im getting excited of my grow :laughtwo:

Need a bit of help to know if Im any close for harvesting. Need to buy a magnifying glass.

Alright so.

Need some help.

I was again out on a trip, came back....

Weed was over-matured. Some of the nuggets had mold on it... still growing on the plant.

So much humidity here.

I cut everything down as soon as I couldnt, took some pics.

What to do, throw away weed, cut away parts with mold?

HELP!
