Mono's Monster 4.0

:welcome:

Moving on from the 12/12 from seed journal, it's about time the big girl got a thread of her own ;) This should be a relatively quick journal as she has less than 10 weeks until harvest time.

I've paid a bit more attention in veg this time, along side a smaller pot here is hoping we can smash the 1kg from a single plant.

Quick recap ;)

Strain is Tutankhamon from pyramid seeds.
36 litres of Canna Coco is the medium, and a fabric pot is the container.
Canna coco A and B are the nutrients, maybe a little pk 13/14 here and there.
Tent is 4 x 4, with 600 watts of air cooled HPS providing the light.

Well, the main reason everyone follows journals... Some pics ;)

Subbed....I didn't look far enough back on your previous thread....Did you ever scrog her? If you haven't I'm very interested to see a monster like this just lst'd.....did you top at all?

I'm really looking forward to this....I've seen the other journals on big plants you did but on scrog....

Very very beautiful veg plan to have write that when you flip her she is going to be a monster and that trunk you have on her this huge is probably 3 to 5 inches and Garth is going to hold up a lot of weight you can easily get your goal of one kilogram for that one plant make sure you use your bamboo supporter branches cuz those b****** are going to be heavy as hell

Hello Mono, greetings to the new year ahead, looking good here. I'll grab a seat in the first row. Not that there is any second row on the forums :) Keep it up man! :thumb:

Thanks and welcome all ;)

I'm going to be rude and not answer you all individually, but I will try and answer all questions.

Here she is a couple of weeks after germination

P1040891.JPG

She spend around 8 weeks in vegetative growth, and a couple of weeks germinating and seedling stage. So in all she had close to three months growth from seed before flipping her to 12/12.

Usually I'm pretty hands on with topping, defol etc, but for this plant she was topped once relatively early on, other than that the training has consisted of minimal low stress training through veg.

When I changed the light cycle to 12/12 I did quite a bit of super cropping to keep the middle of the plant down closer to the flat canopy. Now she has been flowering for a week, I'm pretty happy with her shape.

She is still drinking pretty heavily, to get some run off I'm having to give her 10 litres of water each day, with canna coco a and b @ 1/2 strength.

Tonight she is going to get her first round of defoliation, and some of the lower growth removed. Until then, here she is intact...

A quick defol this evening at watering time. There seems to be good growth on a lot of the lower branches so I left them in place for now.

Although she is budding up quite nicely there is still quite a bit of vertical growth so I raised the light another 4 inches :)
