COB Lights Capn Style

So here my new grow. 21 days into flower. I just removed most of my fan leaves. First time doing this. Also flowering in a 3 gallons hoping to keep a smaller plant but that didn't work.



About the light. 3 cob vero29 from rapidled. Had to put up my mars reflector cause she just got too big.

Nice plant, frosty for only 3 weeks in flower. .

I got to say she got so frosty over night.


I forgot to mention this is og kush by Dinafem.

Overall I do feel like this cob is the best light I have ever had. The light is real intense and the heat is really barely anything.

She's really taking off I feel like. I actual notice a difference daily with her. Removing the fan leaves did not stunt her at all. I really would have thought some sort delay from the removal but she doesn't act like I did anything at all. I feel like if anything it's actually promoting bud growth compare to my other grows.


So I took a few pictures today to see if you guys notice a difference in the buds under the cob and the mars. I don't think I see any difference at this point at all. I would have thought the mars side was going to suffer but nothing. I really don't know if rays bounce around in the room.

Also has anyone tried to clone this stain and had problems. I probably have a 90% rate with my cloner bucket. But every clone I've taken has died. Idk if it's cause I took them during flower or what. I've had dr keppling incredible bulk clones taken in flower and they survived. My clones stem turn to mush in 2 to 3 days. Does that point to any specific problems?

Day 32


She chugging along. I see her starting to bulk up. This has been one of the easiest grow I've done. She is not a picky stain. I feel like the rain water I've been using is helping a lot. My ph isn't bouncing around as it usually does with tap water. I have to officially say i don't think taking the fan leaves hurt her at all. My lower buds are bigger then usual.

I'm at day 63 I think she's pretty ready to chop. Just started to flush so I'm hoping end of next week. Buds are nice and dense and very frosty. Nice sweet smell to her too. I have to say cob and led make buds as dense as hps. This strain also is a 60 day strain.

So I forgot to update you guys.


She's been chopped, dried, and cured. It came out to a total of 8.4 ounces. Even the popcorn buds were dense and great looking. Best grow yet. Cobs are the shit I felt like my popcorn buds cane out amazing from the light penetration.
