Thanks for the info. I hadn't even considered the additional benefit of beneficial bacteria. Win, win.

One of the projects I have on my to-do list is to put a goldfish pond in my backyard.

I love to keep fish and care for them. Once the pond is established and healthy, I'm going to use pond water for my plants and see how they do.

I'm pretty sure they're going to like it.

Thanks I hope so, I'm down to the last little bit of my stash. And my partner says we're not buying any more. I hope that big girl is done soon.

I was talking to my Dad, and asked him about the frost. And he said it's great, it makes them bloom faster. I was worried about the frost killing them, he said it will just make them do their thing better. He's also is flushing his. I'm still giving the smaller ones the blooming food.

He said he's got a cure technique that takes 2 days. Maybe I'll try it on a couple buds, just to hold me over. But I'll probably take the proper time with the rest.

How long are you expecting until harvest for the LST?

I'm not sure, I'm waiting for all of the hairs to turn brown. So far I'd say it's 25% there. Then as everyone says, when you think it's done, wait a week. I have some dead males and a hermie in the garage I might smoke if desperate. So probably 1-2 weeks untill harvest of the LST. The little ones are a bit more behind then that.

From the pics it's hard to see which bud is the top (on the LST) it's the tall one on the right.

I'd definitely go a week longer, or 2-3 weeks. Time will tell though

[QUOTE=setting sun;827554]Re-using soil is something I've been thinking about.

I have been re-using soil over a year now....i do add fresh soil now and then and i use only organic fertilizer and that helps keep some nutrients in the old soil......i have never had a problem re-using my soil......knocking on wood.........peace people.

    Re: Chump's First

Using old soil is actually better than new. Old (by that I mean freshly used lol) soil has colonies of microbes and bacteria and all the good stuff that helps your plant flourish. I would just be sure that the previous plant didn't have any diseases and that the soil is the right PH.

Thanks! Yeah I used recycled soil too. I also added some new soil to the mix.
