Anyone use Green Killing Machine in their DWC?

Making a new dwc container, my last grow went south with about a month left. Root rot around the base of the roots in the pod I'm assuming is what killed it. So I found the green killing machine and wanted to know if anyone has experimented with it or uses it. I'm looking at the 9w.
 
extremely high likelihood the root rot you experienced was caused by water temps being too high. Keep water temps below 67f and root rot cannot happen. Address the likely real problem rather than trying to mask it.

Or use beneficial bacteria such as Hydroguard. Unfortunately my reservoir temps stay 70 to 74 F all the time. Hydroguard, Sensizym, or other bennies provide a buffer zone.
