Looking for feedback and has anyone else tried this. This takes care of spider mites, as well as replling deer.

Instructions

1 Unwrap a bar of Fels Naptha soap and grate 1/4 of the bar into small pieces using a cheese grater.
2 Fill a pot with 1 quart of water and place it on a stove burner turned to medium heat. When the water starts to warm, pour the soap shavings into the water.
3 Stir the water and soap solution with a spoon until the shavings are completely dissolved. Turn off the stove burner and remove the pot from the heat. Allow the mixture to sit until it cools to room temperature.
4 Fill a large spray bottle with 1 quart water and add 1 tsp. of the Fels Naptha liquid soap and 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol. Place the top on the spray bottle and shake it gently to mix the contents.
5 Spray the liquid onto the leaves and stem of the plant until they are saturated and the liquid drips off. Make sure to spray the bottoms of the leaves as well as the top. Repeat the application every two to three days until all signs of insects are gone.

Tips & Warnings

Store unused Fels Naptha liquid in a jar with a tight fitting lid.

Test the mixture on only one or two leaves at first and wait 24 hours to see if it harms the plant. If no damage is visible proceed with the full application.
