What kind of plants/herb that can bud like weed? if so, what kind?

The hops plant is in the same family as weed, Cannabaceae, and has similar structures. For example, in this picture of a Czech hops field, one can clearly see its resemblance to the taller and rangier varieties of cannabis. The leaves have odd numbered, serrated lobes like cannabis, shown here but the lobes are blunter in shape. Like cannabis, the hop is dioeceous (separately sexed plants), but unlike it is a perennial. The "buds" on the hops plant contain the bitter flavoring agent desired in brewing, and also contain lupulin, an herbal sedative. The buds actually can be broken down and rolled into "joints", which will give the smoker a mild grasslike buzz for about an hour. In retrospect, having tried that a few times, many years ago, in the context of more recent experience, I'd say it's like a very mild indica buzz.
