What do you think is the best distance from bulbs for the beggining?

What is the distance I need to put my plants from CFL bulbs on the seedling stage if I want to do a scrog later on?
It won't be a problem if I put the plant 3 inches from the bulbs?
The temperature reach 28c degree if I do so,
But I told that I need to do so if I want to grow on a pc box.. I'm not sure what to do
What do you think?

3 inches is probably close with a. Cfl. Some will dispute but you'll need good ventilation and good temp control to be able to do it.

CFL puts off zero heat i would move it within an inch.

I use CFL''s and I keep mine as close as I can get them..and you can hang them where ever you want..keep in mind the more light your plant gets the better it will grow..you also have to keep everything else in line too..here''s what cfl''s did for me,and I only veg for 5 weeks and I'm 4 weeks into flower
