what happens if i dry my buds for more than a week? lets say 2-3

potana: if you dry your buds longer, say if you have to be away for a few days, your buds might get TOO dry. Stick a thermometer that has the humidity dial on the bottom into the container you are drying them in, and cover all with a plastic bag. Check the humidity level after 12 - 24 hours.
If it is lower than 62%, then you need to rehydrate them. I just do a couple quick spritzes from a spray bottle on the buds, then close the bag. I check the humidity in 12 hours. When it is close to 62%, I drop a couple of Boveda 62 packets into the jar, then seal it. I store my buds for the cure in the bottom of my refrigerator.
If you are plagued by high humidity in your area, then extra time drying may be a benefit. Your goal is around 62%, then you can jar and store for at least a month.
