Some help with T5 distance on new soil grow

Hey all

Just started growing again after 30yrs. Just moved seeds (from paprer towel germination) to dirt this Morning.

This is my Setup

• Tents is a 25.5x51x63" OneDeal Tent.
• Lights Sun Blaze 44 T5 4 tube 4' light
• Dirt Fox Farms Ocean Forest mixed with Perlite

So now some questions all you experts

1. How far off the pots do I keep the Light? Im at about 6-8" now
2. How often do I mist/water them
3. Also once they sprout, do I continue the same distance off the plants till I go to Flower with my 600w HID light?

Two to four inches i ran six practically touching

T5s are very cool. Mine are about 2 inches above my plants now. One of my plants was actually touching it and had no issues. I did gently Bend her away from it though

As for your other question HID lights run very hot. So you're going keep them a distance. My girls are flowering w a t5 2" away

Dropped the light down a few inches.. so about 2-3" now

Just watch them. Cuz if they're little leaves get wet their leaves will burn

When I had my 96w 2ft T5s several inches above my seedlings the heat almost killed them. The only way I can have T5s is with an extractor fan running and a desk fan blowing air across the bulbs to cool them down. My tent is small though so it was bound to heat up quicker. Just my 2 cents

Thanks I am watching every hr ish. To be sure they are good
Mine is a 2x4.5x5.5 so lots of room for the 2x4 light

Temp seems to stay around 86. And I have a 6" clip fan blowing on the light

Start at 4 to 6 inches. Move them closer, while watching the plants. On my last grow, I was at less than 2 inches, almost touching.
