First Time Grow - Indoor Organic

Hey guys, first time indoor grow going. I have been playing with set up , lighting, ventilation Etc. Trying to get consistent temps and results. Anyways, these seeds sprouted over three weeks ago and I only have 1 to 2 inches of growth going. I have started to feed with general organics grow box Nutes . I am using an all organic soil and water with reverse osmosis with pH of 6.5. They are underneath and eight bulb T5 fixture. I will be transplanting out of the solo cup soon into a 1 gallon smart pots. Is it normal for seedlings to be this size and color at this stage three weeks after sprouting? Also I have many vegetables such as peppers tomatoes etc. in the same tent as my plants. Is this taking away from oxygen and other things from my girls?

Re: First Time Grow-Indoor Organic

Do you let the soil dry out between waterings? What strain? Photo or auto?

"carpe diem"

Hey thank you for the reply, def Seizing the Day.

Purple Express Auto Fem by Freedom Seeds. Yeah this 4" plastipot almost completely dries out everyday , I had just watered prior to the photo.

I am hoping to Transfer over to a 1 gallon SmartPot using Roots Organics Original Soil and a Super-Thrive RO Water Mixture tomorrow.

Thanks again, .

She should cheer up once transplanted

These were indeed in need to be free. Had roots that were being restricted by being in a short 4" container.

Transplanted into 1Gal Smartpots With FF Ocean Forest and Used a 1/5 solution of SuperThrive to initially Water Seedlings.

Looking good so far except for my Nirvana AK-48 Auto Seedling is growing very tightly together at a slow pace. Hopefully once the trans shock wares off She will take off.

Purple Express Auto has been my biggest grower and has tripled height and nodes in just 3 days after Transplant.

Aurora Indica was my slowest grower but is looking like all the photos of a 2 week old seedling even though we are hitting the 30 day mark.

I set up my 2 California Lightworks SolarFlare 250W LED lights hanging angled towards plants about 22" away. My 600w MH light is on Top at about 16" away.

Its a little warm at 80 Degrees but I might try to add additional timers and run full lights during the coolest part of the night and alternate LED lights through the rest of the 18 hour light period.

I Tried to Train the Purple Express by LST and trimming a couple of the Large FanLeaves to allow light to the underside preflowers.

Also My AK48 Auto is looking like heat stressed or Nute Burned. Its been at 102 and 105 degrees at the start of these guys life, Before I Installed Proper Ventilation and now have had it running at 82 with Lights on 70 degrees lights off. But None of the other plants look like this and are otherwise healthy.

What gives?

Hey Toasted, Me too

If you look closely at the 1st and second Pic above, You will notice dead , brownish-yellow spots and the damaged leaves. You can Tell how the GO BioWeed & Diamond Black mixture stained with residue the other leaves.

The new growth over the weekend Is Bright Healthy Green and looking really good. I watered with BioGrow making sure only to get the roots and base of the main Stem. We shall see how this new growth takes off. Ive Added New LED lights this week so It could be shock mixed with Ph problems , nutes and Overheating as well, who knows probably a little bit of everything. Im really ready to start a new grow with everything set up and a little experience under my belt.

I agree with toasted. It might not be much but you know what not to do next time lol. My first plant only produced about an 8th of smokeable material.

Got 7 grams off this cutting of the Purple Express .
