Helping a friend grow a plant need advice

looks pretty good just stretchy... IMO i'd lower the light little by little using the back of the hand method

I would tell your friend to use that top half of the plant to make a clone and l would lower the lights or the last month plus of growing this plant will be for a couple grams.

Every day it seems to get bigger but yes it looks like it stretch compared to grow heaps of leaves...

What is the back of the hand method??

It's when you take the back of your hand and slowly move it up towards the light until you feel the heat coming off of the light. If it's to hot for your hand it's to hot for your plant.
With cfl's you can get them inching from the plant. If you can fit it in your budget you can also add more cfl's to help with those side branch's.
If you have the free time head over to grow journals in progress and look for a grower named savingson, I hope I'm spelling her name right. She grows with cfl's and they are awesome plants!

Think i would clone if you could get some more cfl's. Then you could keep vegging and it would get alot bushier and you would have a second plant to grow out. Just a suggestion.✌
