1st grow - how close to ready are these?

Sorry the photos aren't great - no microscope here, just an ancient mobile phone camera!

Need some help. I'm off on hols for two weeks in two days. Bad timing I think as it looks like my first grow (auto diesel) is just about ready. Suspect it only needs a few more days, but would love it if someone can tell me its likely to need a couple more weeks!

Its week ten since first leaves. Started flowering week seven. Seed seller says its a ten week plant.

This is a southern UK outdoor organic grow in soil.

Any helpful advice appreciated!!! Especially from any expert southern UK growers. Please. :)

looks like its got another 2 weeks pluss to go, buy a jewlers loupe.

Thank you!

I've got one of those, but no idea how to take photos through it.

So its about 20-30% red pistils. Glad you hear you think its got at least a couple of weeks to go. Means I'll have a chance to harvest it properly.

Any one else got an opinion?

i wouldnt count pistil colour, i had a northern lights that had 100% brown pistils and the trichomes were still clear.

always go buy trich colours buddy and even though the seed banks say 10 weeks it can take allot longer, i ran my autos for 14 weeks.

Thanks for the replies chaps. Really reassured me. I've finished setting it up to be watered while I'm gone, so fingers crossed it survives!

I've got a jewellers loupe thing, but can't work out to take photos through it. I've tried and they're rubbish.

Also I find it hard to keep my hand still enough to look at the trichs easily - although I do manage it.

Anyway, thanks for the tips and responses. Good to know it'll go for a bit longer - hopefully fatten up a bit too. :)

So - thanks for all the help so far.

I just came home and found this. Any chance this is just over-ripe slightly? Not dried out ...

(Sorry for quality of pics - will try and post better later).

All replies gratefully received.

How long were you gone on holiday?

Bump - anyone??

These look ready?

They look milky to me but I can't find any amber ones ...

Is all the leaves dropping off - even on the buds, normal?

They look about ready to me but then I'm on my first grow too, you could harvest a bit every couple of days and track each separately to figure out your perfect time to harvest for next time.
Grab a small 30-60x scope they are cheap as chips.

Thanks! Believe it or not, those pics are with a 60/30. The top 2 with the 60.

To be honest, I can't see better than that with my eyes! I'm tempted to cut a bit of bud for a steadier look ...

You could pull a couple of sugar leaves that way you can 'leaf' your buds intact.
Sorry couldn't resist making a terrible joke too. This Super Silver Haze is getting to me .

Not a bad joke under the circumstances ;)

Good plan though, I'll get some sugar leaf and try again.

Perhaps Buds are naturally pulling the energy from sugar leaves.
Trichomes still milky...
Thanks. Having had a closer look I agree - still looks only milky.

I'm astonished at the number of dead leaves - I thought the plant'd need some!

Although maybe it is related to - a few worrying patches of brown in the bud that have come to my attention now, not sure if something's been eating it or they got dried out while I was gone ...

Any advice gratefully received. :)

And just for good measure - some more attempts at photos of the trichs. Def milky white I think.

I also did wonder if it dried out. I also had a few parts of my buds that browned out and I pulled off the bad parts. You can pull those sugar leaves down and off the plant. You are so close and it is a beauty!
