Would it be bad to put a new type of soil directly under Ocean Forest?

My 2 plants are currently in 5 gallon pots, but they only have 3 gallons of soil (FF Ocean Forest) in them because I ran out.

I'm a little concerned about getting root bound and figured an extra gallon of soil underneath would be helpful. Would it be okay to purchase this "Black Gold All-Purpose soil", lift my plants out of their pots, add a gallon of this soil, and place the plants back on top of the new soil?

I don't want to go out and get a new bag of FFOF because then I'd have way too much extra as my next grow will be a Coco grow.

I just did the same had my plants in a one gallon pot with fox farm ocean forest and transplanted in a five gallon with pro-mix and they did just fine. I only use fox farm ocean forest for seedlings then I transplant using different soil with all my plants and haven't had a problem.
