Last stage flowering - Tips?

hey guys, i am growing strawberry sour diesel and i am on the last days on flowering. i flushed half a week ago, and i was wondering if there are any tips just before i harvest.
i heard not to water the plant some days before harvest to produce better yield.

Potanna..first,good job getting to harvest.
Regarding what to do, lots of people have different rituals.
Some people even shut them in a darkened room for 24 hours before chopping?
Me I just keep an eye on the trichomes, depending on the effect you're after, either mainly cloudy white will give you more uplifting and euphoric buzz, while waiting for more amber trichomes will result in a more couchlock heavy buzz.
Final flush, chop 12 hours later myself.

I didn't flush my first grow at all & it tastes amazing. Better than anything I'd be able to buy locally. Just my 2 cents
The drying & curing is the most important to me.
