Flowering time - When to start counting weeks

When they say 8 weeks flowering time, is that 8 weeks from when you switch lighting to 12/12, or from when they actually start flowering?

Welcome.Yes they mean from the flip,i have found it more like what they say and add another 2 weeks to be more accurate that just me, they are growing them i would like to think with optimum conditions and may well finish for them at 8weeks. I like to leave them to mature with lots of amber. regards
