First Grow Attempt Starts Tomarrow

My college semester is finally over and now I have the whole summer to do................ Exactly so I decided that I am going to grow some herbal. That being said, I have never grown before. I have about 24 seeds of a unknown strand, which are viewable here If you can tell what strand they are please let me know. I haven't decided on where I'm going to grow them but im going to start them with the paper towel method but from there on I have no idea. I live with my parents right now ( like i said I'm back from college ) I have a friend that might let me use a room in his apartment for growing but aside from that I will be forced to grow outdoors. (something I'm not looking forward too). Any ideas or suggestions from veteran growers would be much appreciated. I don't really have any equipment except maybe regular house hold materials.

You really should set the room up before germinating the seeds At least veg them to a foot or so before planting outside.

I almost forgot, I know nothing about planting or growing anything. So I don't know what germinating or anything like that means.
