What are the pros/cons of a 12/12 grow?

Just wondering what the benefits and drawbacks of a 12/12 grow are...I'm starting my first outdoor grow (which I will make a journal for) soon but I'm also interested in doing a small scale indoor grow room.

Good question. Looking forward to your grow!

Pros - Your plant stays short for people who don't have much room to grow, shorter grow time because you don't have to go through the veg stage.

Cons - Lower yeild

I'm sure there's more, but I just named the main reasons.

if your doing this do you sprout at 24/0 for the first week or so after germination or is it a continuous, unchanging 12/12?

12/12 from seed. ;-)

You do not, it is 12/12 all the way... Some of the pros are no branching so you can get more in a tighter space, overall grow time of plant, it skips the veg and some strains are less leafy, height can be lower, and finally, only one light period, you don't need separate rooms. some of the cons, have to grow from seed, the yields would be lower but you may make some up with plant counts..

on a 12/12, how long would it be before they started flowering??....and what's the average grow time on a 12/12 grow???
