College degree?

Is there any particular degree that you can obtain that will help get a foot in the door with commercial growing or just the industry in general? Currently living in a state where there are no legal cannabis laws, however I work for a company that will pay for my education, so I would like to get a degree in something that would allow me to get my foot in the industry and give me and my family the opportunity to move to another state.

I was also considering logistics, it's offered at the local university, but there's no kind of agricultural or plant science classes
Consider this. I loved to fly fish as a younger man. So much so I moved my family out west to follow my dreams after I retired. Anyway I got super Involved with a veteran's organization and started taking Vets fishing two, three times a week. At first I loved it but pretty soon it became an obligation and not recreation. I started hating fly fishing for the obligation part.
My point is I hope none of my 420 peeps ever find MJ an obligation in their lifetime.

I just love everything about the plant, the community around it, The medicinal benefits it provides to many people, the way it makes me feel, so if I can land a profession in the cannabis industry and move to a state where it is more accessible and legal, that would be a dream come true to me. I will truly be able to work all day without it feeling like work

Not trying to piss in your Wheaties. I am 49 yrs old and stepped on my dick enough to share my (I stress MY)failures without ego. BTW the rest of that story goes I sold my house for way more than it was worth to a sweet California couple moving North, Smiled and caught the first thing smoking to KY. Now I can afford to follow my dream of growing MJ. Without debt and my wife is able to retire.
We are ultimately both chasing dreams.
Good luck brother.
