420 Magazine's Mantra for Good Luck.
1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

3. Follow the three R's
* Respect for self
* Respect for others, and
* Responsibility for all your actions.

4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.

6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

7. When you realise you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

8. Spend some time alone every day.

9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.

10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

11. Live a good, honourable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.

12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.

13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.

14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

15. Be gentle with the earth.

16. Once a year, go some place you've never been before.

17. Remember that the best relationship is the one which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

20. And always keep your bowl full to share with friends and family.

Go gently and love the world!

wonderful advice clearly from one with the experience to give it. This is similar to the values I have learned from my own father, a wise man who built something from nothing, with a few exceptions.

This is something to write down and pass it on, I know i am?

Thanks again Moose for bringing forth wisdom for all to digest. You have modeled that philosophy,and I believe everyone would agree that 420 became much richer & robust when you joined the 420 family. :clap:

that sounds great but this stoner has trouble with imageand spirit and that
makes me selfish and greedy

ever since an ordained minister told me there was nothing for me at the church i've attended all my life and no help for me i've wondered if i should stop
taking up space and resources

if god loved me enough to die for me why does my church hate me for getting high?

you al;l aren't my therapist and that mantra's great sorry for the tangent

honesty and respect go a long way i screwed up paying for a front a while ago and my dude almost choked on a drink when i told him i spent the money i owed him on booze and other drugs trying to get into some girls pants.... i asked him to take me to the bank to cash my next check before i screwed up again.... we get along fine and have for years....
