T5s for flower? What is your experience?

Ok guys and gals i am just curious what you are using for lighting in flower. I have 12 plants in soil under 2 4' 4 bulb 54 watt ho t5s as well as one 8 bulb HO t5 ( total of 16 bulbs) i have heard that t5 are bad for flower but i cant afford to get any hsp or any diffrent lights. So im just really wanting to know if anyone here has flowered under t5s i have 9 of the 3000°k bulbs and 7 6400°k bulbs. I could afford to switch bulbs if it would be benifical. But i seem to be getti g a bit of dead leaves in the underside of plants. My buddy who is an advanced grower seems to think it is because those leaves arnt getting light. Advice??? Pictures to follow.

This is the lower parts of plants then the tops week 2 of flower.

This is under a 4 bulb 4 foot. I use 1 6k 1 3k and 1 powerveg 660 and 1 powerveg 633

Damn. That looks good. How many plants to you have per light? And what strain is it?

This one was umder 8 bulb 4 ft. 6 were 3k and 2 6k bulbs
