Mars Hydro 900w question

Recently bought the Mars Hydro 900w LED groq light, I'm new to LED lighting and this unit.
Do I still require running a timer for the 12/12 cycle to induce flowering?
Or is enable the bloom option all I need to do? And continue leaving them on 24/7?

Was used to cfl grow lights before.

The "veg" and "bloom" switches are just to turn on different LED lights with different spectrums. In veg the plant needs more blue light and in flower they need more red. I use veg only switch in veg and then bloom and veg are on in flower. But you still need to run 12/12 for photoperiod plants to flower.
