Hi all,
I've opted to test the dual arc 600W for an auto flower Blue Amnesia grow. I've noticed a distinct difference between using MH & HPS separately. Since both are situated in 1 globe, you are stuck with a 50/50 split of MH & HPS. Does anyone have a remedy on how to bridge this gap? I want to mix the spectrum properly. On the MH side, the plants are slower to flower and growth is slower. On the HPS side the plants grow like crazy. I use a cool tube 8" reflector with an 8" extractor as well as an additional 12" extractor fan.
Would it benefit to use 2 x 600w bulbs switched around to help balance out the spectrum?
Has anyone experienced the same issues?
What have you found to give you optimum results?
Am I using enough lights to allow for a full grow?
I have 52 plants going in 1 tub (SOG)
My grow-room set-up is as follows:
4,6ft(L) x 4ft(W) x 7.8ft(H) (each tub - of which I have 3)
Its a DWC growth and I'm using 3/4inch thick plywood cured with fibreglass interior. (the plywood helps a lot with temp stability in the extremely hot southern hemisphere.
Your advice will be appreciated!
