Might be the wrong category, but the YouTube video (Introducing FarmBot Genesis - YouTube or Google Farmbot) does paint a beautiful picture.. For those of you tech savvy outdoor growers this may be of interest. Even if you're not, it's still pretty awesome.
Someone has already started on an aquaponics version. I've been working with CNC and 3D printer's for 4 years and have my own commercial grade equipment. I may have to start a journal soon.
